I bought 2 of these primarily to slip over my foot, as the included directions illustrate. This would keep the resistance band from rolling and cutting into the leg. But, the loop isn't large enough! (Then I got smart & tried the the larger loop- Still won't fit.) It doesn't fit over my shoe. (For the record, the large loop is 14" in total length - So it would make about a 4 1/2" circle) Oh well, can't win them all!On The Upside:It is fantastic for looping around immovable objects. Rather than lifting, say a bed post, I fold the assist device around an object (For Example: a hold-the-house-up pipe in my not so high tech home basement gym) and loop one circle through the other.I just leave it there and tie the resistance band to it when I go to that "station." I have a second one under the leg of a heavy tool shelf. I just lifted it up, using the giant muscles I built with the resistance band (OK- I Used A Floor Jack), and dropped the small loop below the leg. This item keeps the band from getting chaffed against the anchor leg and eventually breaking- sending me flying across the room. (As if I can pull that hard!)The material is thick and coarse and nearly an inch wide. The connection point is sewn in the lifting industry standard Boxed-X pattern. I really doubt, using it for the intended purpose, it will ever wear out or break. I'm hoping it will stretch enough to slip over my shoe. (Then I'll wash it and have to start over!)For this price, I will buy more next time I have enough purchases to get free shipping. I can think of about a bazillion "Non Intended" around the job and home for these as well.

This handle is great for doing exercises like rowing because you only need this one handle instead of two of the smaller handles. 'But you have to change the bands around' I hear you say. If you are in a serious workout program using the Thera-Band Elastic Resistance Bands (ERB) (or any other brand or using tubing instead of bands), and you have this and the the accessory kit with the two soft handle grips, the door anchor and the assist-strap, you should already have spare sets of the ERB kits you are using be they the Light Resistance Band set (Yellow-Red-Green) or the Heavy Resistance Band set (Blue-Black). Or have purchased individual color bands (preferred as you move up the band scale)and the only way to buy the silver and gold bands. Why? If you have a damaged band or piece of Elastic Resistance Tubing (ERT), you should cut the band or tubing so that the damaged part is no longer part of the band (or tube) you are using. But then you have a shorter band. Not as much resistance. Save the shorter band for another exercise but get out a new band for the current exercise. And sometimes you use a certain color band for one exercise and another color for other exercises. No? Yes! Or at least I do. Thanks for reading this, I hope it helped you.

I have been going through Physical Therapy for an achilles injury and my Physical Therapist had me doing some great exercises using the CLX Resistance bands with loops on the CLX system. I tried to copy these exercises with my regular old therabands to no avail. I couldn't rightfully buy a CLX system, nor could I afford one! So when I saw this I thought I'd give it a try. It works LIKE A CHARM! Now it's like any door in my home can act as a CLX system! And for just a tiny cost! I'll be using this a LOT from here on out for PT as well as training when my achilles heals and I'm back to full running form.

I highly recommend all of TheraBand's band and tube products. My physical therapists recommended my using them for rehabilitation while undergoing physical therapy for purposes of strengthening and conditioning following shoulder surgery. This door band is another very helpful product of theirs which, when working with various bands and tubes by utilizing a door, keeps the band/tube secure and stationery preventing it from popping out of the door frame. Of course, you still need to consult with your doctor and PT to make sure this product is helpful and not harmful given your particular injuries.

I'm very pleased with these. They are easy to attach, and don't damage the bands. I wish more Thera-band equivalents were shown for standard exercises. But I was happy some basics were illustrated in the little guide sheet. I'm not sure how sturdy the door piece is, but I also appreciate that it and the handles are soft and lightweight; less chance of injury. The for attachment certainly is a lot simpler to anchor and move quickly than a previous product I'd tried.

I needed another set of handles for a thera band for Wii active., and I bought this item based upon another reviewer's recommendation. (Thank you for the recommendation.) It is perfect- just a bit longer than ones included with the wii active, but better looking. Have found it excellent to toss my thera-band with these handles in the suitcase when traveling and the tennis bag for warm-ups.

This is a really useful, small, lightweight, sturdy, piece of kit! Very simple to use - all you need is a door, and it will provide a multitude of different working heights for your band exercises. I use it when I’m away and can’t get to a gym. Allows me to get a pretty comprehensive upper body workout with just resistance bands.

The theraband has helped my PT at home for shoulder issues. It has extended the length of the yellow elastic band when I have to hook it over the door. It also keeps the band in place on side of the door when I need to use it at chest level. The cost of the band made me want to give it a try. Travels easily , too.

Buy the non latex bands even if you’re not allergic, the quality is superior and there’s not disgusting smell or powdery dust. These are so easy to travel with! Everything, including the bands can fit right into a makeup bag or freezer bag! No excuses anymore!

Used this at physical therapy and when asked to do my exercises at home this made the whole process easier. I can get a good work out using the handles. Much more comfortable than just holding the bands by themselves. Definitely a must in your routine.

This has worked out quite well for me. When I just had the band knotted and stuck on the door, it would only take a week to break. This prevents that from happening and stays wherever you put it in your door. Only wish it came with a blue band, too.

This is a must have accessory for using your TheraBands on the road. At home, I have permanent anchors installed in my ceiling, but on the road, I need to use a door to secure my bands. This is good quality and does the job excellently.

Got this to help with rehab at home after shoulder surgery. This kit is such a hidden gem! Super portable and makes it easier to use the bands. My PT was so impressed by these and she now recommends patients but them! Awesome product.

I love this door anchor. I use it every day for leg, arm and shoulder workouts. It holds up well so far and the material feels very sturdy. I use it with resistance bands from decathlon.

The Theraband Door Anchor is inexpensive, but of good quality and works as advertised. I like the added safety of double looping the band through the 2 loop system of the door anchor.
