This is quite a smart looking rain jacket. I bought it in navy and medium and as a mostly size 10 - 12 with probably a size 16 - 18 bust, it fits me well. It fastens properly over my bust without drowning my waist - there's just enough shaping for it to follow the shape of my body without being restrictive in any way. It packs down fairly small (though doesn't come with a stuff bag) and certainly keeps the rain off me. Don't keep your hands in your pockets when it's raining though as the material is so waterproof, rain will just flow down your arms and accumulate in the pockets! It's also not particularly breathable but it's been fine for me as an outer layer while walking in cooler weather.The one odd thing is that the zip is on the wrong side for a lady's jacket.

First and foremost, I love that this jacket does not have any Velcro like the last design. The Velcro on my last North Face jacket ripped numerous scarves and kept catching other Velcro parts as I walked along, especially annoying when you want to open the jacket on warm sunny days but you need a raincoat just in case it rains. Besides, Velcro is for children!I would have preferred a pop fastener on the sleeve rather than elasticated wrists so that it could be adjusted. On long walks if you get warm, you cannot release the cuffs. Also, the sleeves are a little bit long for a ladies coat.Anyway, apart from those little niggles, this coat keeps the rain and wind off so very happy.

I love the colour it's a bright green..Brightens walking gear up. It is only a lightweight jacket but I like to layer up anyway. North Face do put the zips on the same side for both men & women, so I don't find that a problem. Really suited with the jacket.

I love this navy jacket - I also have a light grey one, which is just as nice. They both fit well and seem to have a good strong zip. Even though the actual material is not thick, the jacket keeps me fairly warm.

I love my jacket. It fits well - but zips on the 'man's' side? Still, I don't care as the jacket has a lovely fit and feels really comfortable. I love it!

As expected, this is a thin and light weight waterproof jacket with good quality. Will bring it to summer holoday, doubling as rain jacket.

Great quality, good fit & looks great. Breathing material makes it perfect for walking & light enough for running.

Good Jacket water proof.I use it when its not to cold but wet weather and I am able to wear a fleece underneath.
