There are several designs of pendant produced by Swarovski, this being a bow tie design. "Swarovski Women Crystal Pendant Necklace 5440643 uses many small crystals embedded within a metal base as do others previously known. The metal used is not silver but is plated to resemble silver.Construction seems always to be similar; a tiny ring either side of the specific design then has one half of the chain attached. Fixing is by a small lobster-claw catch.Although the individual pendants vary slightly in size, in design and the number of crystals installed, they all seem to be of a stated 38cm (approx 15.25 inches) length. Such a length needs a slim neck to fit well and it will then hang almost choker-style on or just below the V between the collarbones.

This Swarovski necklace, like all Swarovski jewellery, is so pretty, it's just delightful. The bow motif is set all round with crystals and is suspended on the chain at two points, not just on a jump ring, so it should lie nicely. There is an adjuster chain two inches long so you can wear the bow either close to your throat or longer depending on the neckline you are wearing. Comes in a smart presentation box, navy blue in colour and will solve gift giving ideas for any lady on your list.

I'll be honest I have next to no knowledge or appreciation of jewellery, which is why I gave this to my mum, who is very fond of necklaces and usually wears two or three. She seemed to like it so I guess that makes it a success. From a technical standpoint, the whole thing looks pretty smart and well made, although I will pass on that the chain is a somewhat short one, so if you have a beefy neck it might not be for you. Other than that, pretty pleased seems to be the order of the day.

You receive a Swarovski pendant which comes in a logo outer box, with a small box inside.The pendant is simply stunning, the tied bow is clever, delicate elegant with the sparkle like diamondsThe chain is fairly small, 38 centimetres it has delicate links making this a stunningly nice necklace.This is a lovely Swarovski necklace, everything you’d expect, fine crystal, beautifully set in the stunning design, it's stylish, intricate, love it.

The necklace I received was from the same range by the same manufacturer but shaped like a swan (product number 5296469) instead of a bow tie. It looks quite nice but it is not as fine and elegant as another swan (I have also in the same range (product number 5469989). This is 1.5cm across as against 2.4cm and that makes a huge difference to the quality of the design and construction.

This arrived this morning and is stunning! Came in really cute packaging and the necklace itself is beautiful and graceful, perfect gift for someone special. My niece will love it! More importantly, the chain is good, which is something I look for when I'm purchasing a necklace.

A very pretty and understated necklace. A tied bow with crystals on a shorter fine chain. Beautiful sparkle . Can be worn on any occasion. Will make a lovely present over a large age range.
