This is a good canteen at this price range. the strap would be better if you could take it on and off. easy to clean and keep it that way. seen them on youtube used in a fire to boil water with no leaks or problems after use, fits my army canteen cup British army with the little stove. just on the look out now for a canteen pouch for it glad I bought it would recommend it the only problem I can see is that the strap needs to be changed if you intend to use it in a fire. the spout on top is for drinking and the hole lot can be removed to quickly fill it with a wide opening. five stars.......

Great canteen with a pretty good fit on a military canteen cup. You can remove the double apperture lid entirely as long as you also remove the attached strap for suspending over a fire to boil, thus sanitising your water, although I understand the practicality of said strap, I just wanted to add wire instead for extra versatility.

Another great product from Stanley, you really cant go wrong.Practical and stylish.Ideal for hiking, dog walking, days out etc.It also fits snugly into the side pockets of my rucksack so I dont always have to use the strap, which is nice.It really is worth paying the extra money for quality and Stanley's lifetime guarantee.

Stylish. Looks better/classier than the other canteens out there. Has two openings. One for filling and one for drinking. If you are buying a canteen, this is the one to get.

Really nice and handy but could do with being able to remove the strrap I’m gonna replace with a leather strap and try and get a straps for my belt. Still love the design
