Bought for a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.As you'd expect from Spigen, another quality case which doesn't forget "style" whilst still offering a fair degree of protection.I have owned other cases including Spigen in the past and my last case for a Galaxy S5 proved itself to be a very good case indeed. Lost could of how many times i dropped the S5 but not a mark on it after nearly 3 years. Despite some heavy drops from around waist/chest height onto concrete.The only issue i have with this case is that i haven't dropped my phone yet and obviously don't want to but until it's happened you can never quite trust a case.My view on this case is that the protruding lip at the top and bottom of the screenshould be enough at 2mm but that assumes if your phone lands face down it's going to hit a perfectly flat surface. OK you have to draw the line somewhere but personally they could have gotten away with maybe 3mm.The case doesn't overlap the screen at the edges letting you view the full screen as it was meant to be viewed. The cutouts for speaker, charging etc are perfect and the buttons are great too. I would have preferred a shiny metal effect to the buttons but that's not a big issue as they work well.I suppose my biggest gripe with the case would be that a removable cutout for the insertion/removal of micro SD cards would be nice but i can see why this has not been done. If you change cards a lot then it might be a bit of a pain but that's probably very few people.Given the cost of a Galaxy S8 Plus I would gladly welcome a slight design modification to this case. Maybe it's me but there are times you need differing degrees of protection for a phone. On the seat of your car or on your desk doesn't need much protection at all but walking down the street or in your handbag (for the ladies) you need that bit more protection and most of us would probably welcome a case that flexed to accommodate what you were doing at the time.What i think Spigen could do is offer a two part case and allow them to slide into each other. Part one is pretty much this case, as it is but with the addition of two grooves down the side. Part two is a thin cover for the face of the phone which slides over the back of the phone but when required could be either removed or slid over the front screen. Those times when your phone is most at risk would benefit from a case that adapts and is perhaps a fraction more bulky but perhaps a lot more protective? Just a thought???Don't let that detract you from buying this case, it's VERY good value for money and if the past is anything to go by will lead to me breathing a heavy sigh of relief sometime soon!

I received my Samsung galaxy S8 Plus Friday and got my screen protector applied (YOOTECH wet applied) which I've never had issues with and have used them for my S6 Edge+, S7 Edge and now my S8 Plus. Once I put the case on I could see that the protector started lifting on the right hand side of the phone..bump. The case is nice and solid and gives a bit of protection for the screen and camera, fingerprint reader and heart rate monitor sensor.The sides of the case are a bit slippery as these are made from black glossy plastic and the back of the phone is also made from plastic so it's really slippery to hold, I would have liked to have seen a rubbery coating to add a bit of grip.So even though this case does protect the phone well,I will be looking for another case for my phone as the cons for me outweigh the positive it's probably a good case if you don't mind dropping your phone and not using a screen protector? But for me I need protection all round

This is a nice sturdy case, fits the phone snugly without pressing on any buttons and although the buttons around the phone are covered you still get the solid click from the original button.I have not had any of the problems other reviews seem to state, no problem with the bixby button (still works perfectly), fits perfectly and still allows full use of the curved edge display.I don't know how good the protection would be in a fall but other spigen cases I have owned have protected the phones perfectly.The only negative I can see for this case at the moment (hence 4 stars) is the fact it slightly takes away from the look and curves of the phone and adds a little bit of bulk.I would say it'sa brilliant case but if you brought the phone for it's tiny bevels and super sleek looks then maybe this case isn't for you, but if you brought the phone for it's sheer brilliance and want to protect it then this may be the case for you!

Not too bulky but does offer decent rear and side protection. Front isn't great, has a little lip if you place ot face down however not sure it will do much if dropped. I have added a good screen protector too to be safe. I didn't want the case to be bulky or impede the edge of the screen so there would always be a slight trade off on front protection. If you want hard-core cover you need a bulky case which will in my opinion spoil the phine styling. This compliments it very nicely. The cut of also makes it easier to find the fingerprint sensor. Only bit not 100% is the edging round the buttons on the side of the phone feels a touch loose and sometimes needs a little push back in.Back is a but more grippy than the phone so that makes handling it feel a bit safer in hand. I haven't taken it off and on many times (e.g. for repeated use of vr) that will be the ultimate test if it holds its shape or not...

The case arrived the next day and in its orginal packaging and in perfect condition so I was really pleased with the delivery service.This is my second case I have purchased, the first was in 2018 the same time I got the S8+ phone. So its lasted me well over two years. Its traveled with me across all the countries I have visited both on business and social trips and it's been amazing. The case fits the phone perfectly, it feels like a premium quality case which of course it is, hence, I purchased it again. I went for the black satin finish again, because it just blends nicely with the case and for me it works perfectly. As for the price, I have not tried any other phonecase to check how they compare in terms of value for money,however, I really think it's good value.

Is the second time I order from Spigen, the first was a case for my galaxy s5.But I cannot review the item as I ordered it with same-day delivery together with a screen protector from other company ( all in the same package )and inside the huge package was only the screen protector.Contacted Amazon for a refund.I'm extremely disappointed, because I didn't receive the item and paid for a hight delivery fee.I don't know if this was Amazon fault or Spigen fault.I really like the case and need it, but after this I'm not sure if I'm going to order again...Review EditI ordered another case, and I Can say that the case is amazing, i like it a lot, very well done !

Looks great, feels great, phone feels sturdy in hand, good looking case.....till you actually drop it the first time and the hybrid metal frame gets dented at the snap of a finger. And this causes the metal frame to go out of shape. Dont get me wrong, I am a big fan of Spigen cases, and would probably go out and buy another Spigen case to replace this one, but just a word of advice please make the metal a bit more resistive to dents and falls. It's a shame that I have to give you 4 and not 5 stars!!

Ignore the previous review, Spigen no longer includes an authenticity certificate so this case is genuine.Seems to be a good case, the black colour looks very slick although fingerprints will show up a bit although they are not too bad but if that bothers you maybe look at one of the other colours. Personally I didn't want the gunmetal so that's why I went for this one.I will update this review if my opinion changes when I receive the phone.

This has got to be one of the easiest screen protectors I have ever fitted in my life. Went on you tube and watched the instruction video that these guys have made for every individual phone and it was so helpful to see it getting done step by step and explaining all the things that you need to do in the correct order to achieve a perfect fit. And very simple steps to follow. Great product and will but from these guys again

Very smart case. Nice to grip but does add a bit of bulk to the phone. Feels well made and durable and feels like it will adequately protect the phone if dropped.I would suggest a tempered glass screen protector when using the case though as the edge of the case does raise up to be quite level with the screen. Some of the glass screen protectors are not quite compatible with the case though so check reviews.

Well made case that comes in two parts. First you fit a silicone rubber back and edge protection and then a hard shiny plastic edge protector clips over the inner silicone. The finish is high quality and it would undoubtedly give some protection to the phone if side or back impact occurs. the silicone back is nicely finished in a herringbone pattern which gives a quality finish that this phone deserves.

Great case, protects phone really well. It obviously adds bulk to my phone but I'm happy to sacrifice this for the protection it provides. I have dropped my S8 plus several times on concrete and my phone remains undamaged. The case has obviously picked up a few scratches and marks but still serves its purpose well. In my opinion Spiegen cases are one of the best out there and are well worth the price.

Love my new phone case, glad I chose the right colour. Only downside is that it doesn't always read your fingerprint and keeps saying "not recognised" I think because the case it too thick (which I'm not complaining about), that is why I have given 4 stars. Other than that I would 100% recommend! Very thick so it does protect your phone from damaging, when dropped. Also love the design.

High quality item which also looks good. My S8+ now feel safe and secure with just a bit more added padding. My only regret was not getting this before I dropped it and cracked the back.Due to the nature of the infinity screen this means it purtrudes out a bit. Meaning if I drop my phone screen done you would damage it. I think this is a good balance as the screen still looks amazing.

I left my phone on the rooof of my car, forgot about it and drove off, found my phone later after searching for it only to find it had been driven over by multiple cars and a couple HGV lorries, phone was smashed, broken, in pieces and unrecognisable, BUT!! this phone case barely had a scratch on it. so i rebought this for my new phone and happy days.10/10 Brilliant product
