I did a lot of research before buying this bike.Firstly I wanted a fold up bike: if it couldn’t fit into the car (alongside other essentials) it was useless to me. This folds up very small - around the size of a cabin bag. Excellent. However beware: if you have gone for a muddy walk, you are going to get muddy folding this up. Particularly if you bother removing the front wheel to make it smaller. The assembly was relatively straightforward. But I consider myself to be pretty good at assembly and it took me a few gos of reading through the instructions to work out how to fold it and unfold it. Now I know, it is very easy. However if someone else (family/friends)used it they would NEVER be able to fold it without detailed guidance. For something so lightweight it is relatively sturdy. However beware sharp corners and curbs - it’s easy to tip it. Perhaps this is normal for three wheels.I wish the seat had a recliner function. But it is ok-ish if a baby falls asleep in it for a short time - the seat is good and the straps very safe. The main point is that my baby LOVES it. It has lengthened the time she is willing to be pushed around, as she feels she is riding a bike instead of feeling restrained. I use it all the time and I’m really glad I chose it.

love it the colour is great the materials are great the steering is amazing so flawless not at all clunky and hard to control like other trikes its a bit pricey but definitely worth the money i previously ordered one half the price and it was terrible and i sent it back on this one the adult pouch is a decent size and holds quite a lot and love the detachable pedals its so handy since my little one cant reach them yet and he loves to swing his legs so luckily they wont be swinging into his legs anytime soon the safety harness is really good quality and i love the fancy clip the padding on the chair is so soft and thick i can imagine the comfort for a little one but the only fault i can confirmis that if you put too much pressure on the parent bar it slides down this is because its held in place by a fastening clip and wont lock into place but if you use it carefully and dont apply too much pressure to the parent bar then its absolutely perfect

Absolutely love this trike. Easy to assemble, easy to fold away and love the little storage bag on the back to keep phones, keys, snacks, drinks in. The only downside to it is that when going up large curbs, it is a little unsteady as it’s balancing on one wheel for a short space of time while you lift up the rest of the trike but that would be the same for anything with 3 wheels, not just this trike. Would prefer the cover to be bigger/wider and a bit more sturdy as it feels a tiny bit flimsy but it keeps our daughter out of the sun which is great. I would and have recommended it to others. It’s also super easy to manoeuvre while pushing it and the wheels are silent on concrete and other terrain so that’s a massive plus!We love it and my 16 month old loves it. If you’re looking for a trike, this is the one to buy!

Other than this being an awesome product and a great idea. To be able to adapt and change this as my daughter grows I think that this has one small design flaw. The Wheels. This would be even better if the tyres were more like pushchair wheels. The wear and tear are not that great. after the first outing we lost half the tread and now after 2 weeks of having this, we have very little tread for grip at all, which is a shame as my daughter loves being in this! The neutral colouring is nice and we are hoping that if the life of this lasts long enough we can use it for a boy or whatever the sex of the child we have next is.Still, I do like this product a lot, and my daughter likes it just as much as well.will just have to replace the wheels most likely twice a year, which I bet will not be cheap.

This is an amazingly helpful product for a toddler! Our son is 14 months and just loves us pushing him around! It gives the child the feeling of independence that I guess a buggy or pram would not. My only grip is he often puts his foot on the front wheel which affects movement of the trike and just make sure your child has good shoes on so they dont hurt their feet if they also do this. Being in lockdown we are finding on the sunny days we pop him in the trike and it's so easy to just go for a stroll, the sun visor is also handy and does help shade the child as well. We often use the little bag at the back of the trike to pop our keys and phones along with water for our son.It really was a good buy and will last us until our son is 3 years old.

I don’t normally write reviews and after reading some of the other people’s reviews, I was a bit sceptical on the product, but I took a risk and bought it for my daughter. What I can say is that it was well worth it. She absolutely loves it! We take it everywhere with us and she loves every moment in it. It’s very easy to assemble and folds away well. One complaint that some people had was that the bar kept sinking down. It doesn’t say in the instructions, but you need to yank the bar up when you want to use the handle and there is a little silver clip that pops out, which secures the bar up.I’m 6.6’ and it’s the perfect height for me. It’s easy to push and comfortable for my daughter to sit in.All in all,5*

Very happy with the trike. Good quality and clever design. We have started with our daughter at 16 months and it is great timing as a go between from push chair which she is bored by and an independent bike. Does not afford the same cover as a push chair from the elements but good clothes make up for it. Don’t look cheaper if you can afford as this is super quality and easy to push. Many stages for development. Our daughter loves the ride position - will be fun over spring and summer. Buy one. But the bag doesn’t carry much so you will need a backpack. Think this a trike plus not a push chair.

This bike was a gift from my son's grandpatent for his 1st birthday. The couriers who meant to deliver was such a disappointment they messed up the delivery times and I did make a enquiry with the customer service and they did their absolutely best to make sure it came for my sons birthday and he loves it! Needed a folding bike because we have a small flat and its light weight too. Very happy with this smartrike and it will grow with my child as he grows which is why I chose this design.Thank you smartrink customer services

This trike is a lot sturdier and seems much better quality than the one we purchased for my little boy when he was 1. And the same price! It’s not plastic - more like a pram but in trike format. My husband is not the best at assembling these kind of items but he reports this was quite easy. My little girl who is one loves it. Various seat positions and it folds up so small into the back of the car which is a plus for park visits. Gorgeous girly pink colour too. Very nice item.

Folds down small, converts for the child as they grow up, our little girl loves it! Looks much better without the long steering handles if other trikes and the tilt steering works well when moving forward, not so much backwards. We did find after a few weeks the push handle was dropping, after contacting smartrike there is a locking pin! Pull the handle up with a foot on the left wheel and it'll pop out to fix the handle height!Great product, were very happy with it.

This is the best purchase ever, my 18 month old was getting bored in a buggy and wanted to get down or be carried but she absolutely loves this. When she sees it indoors she wants to sit in it and she just loves riding it to nursery. I like the little pocket at the back as can put my bag in.It fonts fold down quickly and easily like a buggy would, but it fits in the car made up so ok.

OK, not a Yoyo Babyzen in terms of folding, but pretty close. Folds to a neat size, with relative ease. The 'ride' is much softer than I anticipated. I thought I may need to tape the wheels for traction, but they are good as they are.Only point is regarding harness pads. They constantly come down, so a fix may help (similar to that of car seats). All in all, a good buy.

I'm impressed. Yes it is a bit expensive but you do get a trike that will last you for ages which is what we were after. It works wonders as a pram alternative and our daughter is learning to hold the steering. Big wheel in the front will go over most things and it closes so well that we're taking it on holidays with us instead of the pram. Just excellent so far.

My little one loves her new trike. Perfect for the school runs.We had a previous version of the smart trike with our older child. This updated version is fantastic much better. It’s a lot quieter: It folds which to be honest isn’t the easiest to do. It’s a little tricky. But at least it’s an option.Having said that I would still happily recommend this!

The product looks good with good build quality. The seat seems comfy and we are pleased with the potential of the versatility available. When the front wheel is set to free-rotate it doesn’t reverse very well but the product is very well balanced so tipping it up works just fine. Our 1yr old boy loves it, and you can’t get a better judgement than that!
