This is the best buy for the price,outstanding quality, tripod is more then good enough for this telescope. it all works far better then expected, I would recommend this telescope to friends. I have tried out many argos type telescope's and this beats there best at the same price, this is not a toy but real telescope,

This scope is easy to put together very sturdy and good quality. Prior reading is a must to understand using it. Once mastered you can get some great results in no time.
