Ordered two reels and spooled with 80# braid and mono topshot. They are very quality reels and everything appears to be working well so far. Plan to use for wahoo trolling and tuna fishing. I guess time will tell.

one of my favorites, never had a problem with the Tyrnos...I have 3 of them and 2 Tiagra 50 wides...for the money and value, you cannot beat the Shimano Tyrnos 30 two-speeds

I was fishing halibuts for 5 years. Having this reel I enjoyed fight with fish much more than before. I recommend.

This is just a bad ass reel! For the price I think it’s about the best real that you can get which is two speed

I put 65 lb line on this and proceeded to reel in 4 tuna at 40 lbs each, it worked well, my 3 Tyrnos
