My son has learned everything about cycling from me. As a result, I often have to repair the damage.No job is made easier for the lack of the right tool and changing a bottom bracket is no exception. So when his bb needed replacement (after less than a year- don’t ask) I knew it was time to invest in one of these. Sure enough, old clonk one out and new one in in under 15 minutes. You’ll also need a crank puller to get the pedal cranks off first.The tool is a snug fit and works well. I’ve docked a point because it would be much easier if it had a 1/2” or 3/8” socket instead of (or as well as) the hex, which needs a wrench. You’re therefore obliged to brace the bike with one hand,

I recently bought cheaper tools and they just simply break. This one however did not, which I had to use a 3/4" drive 32mm Socket and tommy bar to crack my extremely seized up bottom bracket which I managed to remove it successfully and this tool did not break not even the teeth twisted.. If you want damn good tools that are tough and reliable then I seriously recommend this one without a doubt.

Needed to repair bottom bracket on Carrera Vulcan. This tool was an exact fit to the end caps of the bearing and I suffered no slips while re-torquing the caps. Great addition to my bicycle repairing kit.

Robust, simple tio use and effective, make sure you realise that you need a spanner that fits it, doesn't work standalone.

Does what it's meant to do. I use it with adjustable spanner but could be used with quite alot of different tools.

Good strong tool that stood up to all that was asked of it. Don't buy a cheap imitation or you will have problems

Does what it says and I managed to remove my old well fastened Shimano bottom bracket on my old Trek 1000 bike.
