The Shimano Sedona has always been one of my favorite reels. They work great. The new design is lite weight and is very smooth and tight. My only dislike about the new design is that it doesn't have an anti-reverse on it. I know that this is a big disappointment to myself and to other anglers.

Shimano is always a great reel for the reel and price. Placed it on one of their rods and using it for some freshwater bass fishing. Excellent quality. fast delivery and service as well. Will buy again.

I love this reel. Shimano reels are just so smooth when reeling. I love this model in particular. The look, feel, and quality are top notch. I can't say enough good things about this product.

It's a freshwater reel but I use it in saltwater. I've pulled out some nice fish out with it, nice reds, flounders, and specs. Cast great, reels in smooth. I would buy it again

Shimano makes a good quality reel and they have for a long time. This is a mid to upper end reel and a great value for what you pay. Built to last a long time.

Took it to Canada on its maiden voyage, and it worked great catching walleye and small mouth bass.I did see it cheaper on EBay after I purchased it

Very smooth, long range casting with 15lb powerpro braid. I also have 30 on another and it seems to cast just as far. Very good bang for the buck!

Great reel. I've been fishing Shimano reels since the 70's, level wind & spinning, lotta tournaments and recreational fishing. Japanese precision.

Awesome reel for the price ! It can handle any fresh water fish with ease! I love this reel I may buy another soon for my fiance.

A great little reel. I use mine on an ultra lite rod for freshwater fishing and it’s a perfect match.
