Unlike what was reported, I had no problems using it with a Shimano 105 FD-5800-F derailleur. Just reposition it and register. The upper limit stop, due to the outermost chain line, is at the limit, but the chain does not crawl. This without using washers as some have suggested. For the rest .... it's a garnish. The only caveat is that, for the price, they could have done it with hollow cranks and reduce weight. In fact it is the equivalent of a Tiagra

Mounted on a Specialized Diverge, this pedal is perfect and can go anywhere sitting, excellent quality Shimano as usual, Attention, it is necessary to change also the front derailleur because this pedal is shifted of 2,5mm towards the outside to clear the chain of the rear tire in the muddy conditions, the recommended derailleur is the GRX RX810 2x11V (one can also put washers on the attachment to shift the front derailleur)

Used on a road bike to replace Shimano 105 (50x34) because not allowed in bike school. Finish very good, and for now satisfied after 2 outputs.
