You know what, many people have said that this is just an expensive piece of plastic & that it scratches easily & the top cover doesn't close properly because it's not magnetised but I've this case now for a few weeks & feel very confident it does what it says on the tin, Yes it's made of shiny plastic which WILL scratch in the wrong environment, so if you're working on a building site this case may not be for you or the phone to be fair without it being sealed in a brick & becoming very expensive brick. On the other hand if you would like to keep your beautiful looking premium phone still looking like a beautiful looking premium phone with an element of protection then this case is great.Myadvice is to use a 99p screen protector as well to stop grit underneath the cover scratching the screen & don't put it in your pocket with your keys. Other than that the real beauty of the case is the Clear View cover which works with the phones NFC (Near field communication) giving you the ability to view the time & date & any notifications, you can also answer or reject incoming calls all without even opening it, plus when you do open it your screen comes to life without pressing any buttons & goes to sleep again when you close it, cool or what. You can speak to people with it closed & when you need to open it it folds all the way back on its self for ease of use. I haven't had a problem with it closing or staying closed.It is a bit of a fingerprint magnet but then again so is the phone its holding & to be fair almost all shiny surfaces suffer from fingerprints, so at the end of the day it's down to you whether you style & beauty or clumpy & inelegant.It's slightly on the high price but considerably cheaper than ruining your £700 phone.

Being an official Samsung product you would expect it to tick all the boxes, this unfortunately doesn't which for something so overpriced is frankly not good enough (especially considering the cost of the phone it's supposed to be protecting!).As others have mentioned the flip cover doesn't stay closed. For the old me this would have been a recipe for disaster as I used to always drop my phone, now though it only really needs protecting in my pocket which it offers. The material gets scratched easily, after just 6 weeks (I received it early) there are many scratches on the front cover, but then at least it shows it's doing that job well.Touch functionality is limited,I would have hoped to have been able to change tracks etc. with the cover on as your able to turn off alarms with it closed. Furthermore, many of the phones edge features are rendered useless with the cover on - but that's no different to any other case.It does look good though and certainly offers at least some piece of mind when it comes to knowing your phone is protected to a certain extent. Furthermore, it does seem to have improved with more use - the flap quite noticeably opening much less often. Many are saying it looks flimsy but bar scratching easily the build quality in general looks solid and should last a long time (much longer than my previous £10 cases which fall apart after a year).To conclude, for me it was worth keeping as I bought it for £30 with a voucher but for the £40 asking price on Amazon (initially £50 when it was being released) you would probably be better off looking for alternatives.Edit: I'm happy to say they have updated the phone to allow you to change tracks with the cover closed now. Much more convenient.

I really don't understand why this case has so many negative reviews. This was the 3rd case I bought for my S6 Edge after the first two (spigen and ringke) didn't meet my expectations for various reasons.I will start by saying that it looks great and looks premium. The silver one yes is a fingerprint magnet which I'm sure won't be such an issue with the blue one for example.Easy to put on and quite sturdy too. Yes it doesn't stay close all the time (although it does when you put the phone down) but that's expected as there's no magnetic flap to keep it close which would make it look ugly in my opinion.If I was after a case that's would stay closed when the phone is lifted and turned then there are many alternatives but this is not it however it's not blurry nor requires you to hold it down so maybe other reviewers got a faulty one.This case makes the phone look great whilst also giving it some degree of protection with the corners being slightly raised. I have a feeling though that dropping it on concrete will really scratch the case which because it's so reflective will make it look quite bad.Overall it's a very nice and premium case that does also offer you some functionality like checking the time, answer or reject calls whilst seeing who's calling without having to open it and most importantly, doesn't ruin the look and feel of the phone.The only thing I'd say is that probably if it was priced in the £30-£40 range it would be good value for money because £49 is slightly pushing it.UPDATE 18/05/15The price has now dropped so I've given it 5*

The case is sturdy and well built. It doubles as a mirror, i used it once to shave, not really the point of it i suppose but, it was handy regardless. The fact that you can see the time and notifications through the front of it i found rather nifty. Plus when you pull the case open it opens up the lock screen automatically. This isn't a rugged case, and only really suited for people who do not work outdoors. I have dropped my phone a few times in this case but not from a great height and not outdoors.The plastic build of it does feel rather flimsy, and as careful as i am with my phone, i think if i dropped it on concrete it will not protect it all that well, but as i said it's not really designed for that,its more of a fashionable case than a case to protect your phone from bumps and knocks. But, that said, it's protected it rather well from the times i have dropped my phone onto my wood floor.I really like this case but once it gets a bit worn out, i'll be replacing it with a more robust case. So while i'm happy with it, and i like the look of it, i wouldn't purchase another.

This case is fantastic and offers brilliant protection for your new curved Galaxy.Some people have said that they were left with scratches where the cover met the phone - my wife and I both have this phone and cover combo and have been using it since the phones release with no problems.I bought one after seeing my wife's case - and loved the fact that you can see the time, answer calls and read messages all with the case closed.One recommendation would be to buy a screen protector for an extra few quid and fit that too. You don't want that beautiful curved screen getting scratched at all!I often take my phone out of the case when I know I am going to be using the handset for an extended period of time,but it easily slots back in after your finished.Great cover and great price on Amazon. 50% cheaper than Carphone Warehouse

I was really reluctant to buy this case because of all the bad reviews on here but so glad I did!! It's a great case! I had the s-view case on the S5 and got on with that too, people seem to have a real issue with the case not staying shut but can't say that's ever bothered me.This case is really cool! It looks awesome and works perfectly with the phone. I've bought a green one for me and the gold one for a colleague and both are perfect! Like the old s view case, you can do certain things with the cover shut like answer calls etc, but there's no window, the whole front is translucent! but also reflective so you can see the phone through it...it's hard to explain but looks amazing!One small criticism if I had to make one would be that it's a bit fingerprinty... but nothing a quick wipe on your jumper won't fix :-)

I bought this case for my s6 edge and it is perfect. The case attaches to the phone perfectly and it closes and opens fine. The side is leather the front is a smooth mirrored plastic and the back is a matte feel plastic that gives a nice grip. It allows you to see through it when it's closed and automatically turns off the display when closed and it shows you the time battery and any notifications. If you get get a call you can answer it whilst it's closed however, you cannot access the canera app whilst it's closed. The front can scratch easily but only if you don't handle it properly.you can also switch tracks if listening to music.Overall a good case but could scratch if not handledproperly.

I'm unsure as to why this case has so many bad reviews!Whenever I get a new phone case, I always change my current screen protector along with it, just to be on the safe side!Looks like the majority of people don't understand that a screen protector (not just a case) is entirely essential. Even with flip cases!So I bought a screen protector just after ordering this case, and since having it, it's been perfect. No scratches on my screen (not surprising), it closes slowly but completely, giving it protection and the back is just beautiful.I really think everyone who gave bad reviews should just invest in a screen protector beforehand rather than complaining about this product.Fantastic :)

Having recently taken delivery of the Samsung S6 Edge with its big screen, I really needed a case to protect all of that glass. Having seen the metallic version of this case I was impressed and bought this version. It fits very well and looks very nice too. It feels solid and well made, and the phone is very securely held in place. The display of the time through the front screen is a nice touch too. I believe that some interaction with the phone can happen with the screen closed too although I have yet to use this functionality.My only gripe with the case is that there is nothing to hold it shut. It naturally closes but there is no magnet or similar mechanism to hold it shut.

I purchased this for my wife's Galaxy S6 Edge after having owned it for my S6 Edge for a few months. This is a brilliant case - perfect fit; nice feature where you can view time and incoming calls whilst the flap is closed; very very durable - I have dropped my phone on numerous occasions and there is not a mark on my screen.As a result of the above, the cost is pretty steep compared with other non-branded cases, though as they say 'you get what you pay for', and this is definitely worth the money.One downside is if you take a lot of pictures, as you will have to hold the phone as well as the flap - though this will happen with any flip phone case.

Came to the door 4 days after ordering with express delivery. The case is a smooth plastic which is quite nice. There's a sensor in the bottom right of the inside to show you the time when the cover is over the screen.The only problem I have is that the cover is very flimsy and moves all over the place when held in your hand. I tried to make a call with it and managed to drop my phone because the screen cover makes the phone harder to grip (First time I've dropped the phone, but it was fine)Overall its a good case, but it's not amazing. There's definitely better cases out there for this phone.

This is a great case and so far hasn't caused any scratches like I've read elsewhere. In silver, it's like having a giant Nokia 8850.I am a little suspicious though that after having the phone just 2 weeks (and always in the case), I developed a hairline crack on the screen resulting in a £170 screen replacement.I can't prove it has anything to do with the case, but it would seem I'm not the only person who has found an otherwise unexplained crack on their S6 edge screen. The only factor connecting all the reports on the web seem to be this clear view case.

This is a good hard plastic protection case for my Galaxy S6 Edge. The back looks like soft brushed stainless steel and the front - which is miraculously see through - looks like chrome plate.At first I thought the high gloss/chrome finish would drive me crazy, due to it's desire to collect fingerprints, but in fact it seems fine in normal use.The fact that it is a bona fide Samsung case means that your battery life is enhanced as it shuts the screen down as you close it, displaying only the clock and small notification bar at the top.

Product is good and I'm very pleased with it. 2 concerns....not sure how long it's going to look 'good' it's likely to get scratched and because of its 'mirror' finish I'm forever wiping the greasy finger marks off it. Lol!Seriously I think it's great.Delivery was a little longer than I expected, those items I've ordered previously through Amazon Prime have always been 'next day delivery' so a bit disappointed this item took 6 days.

Brilliant stylish and excellent protection mobile looks very kool and makes the whole package very professional very happy in fact more than happy best phone case I've ever bought now I'm thinking of getting one for my wifeJust bought a 2nd one for my wife and she's over the moon with it says it's the best flip case she's ever had and that's good coming from my wife as she's hard to please at times 10/10 for service
