I use this as a secondary lock for my motorbike, as it is just thin enough to get through the frame and rear wheel.Definitely do not use as primary deterrent as the chain isn't particularly thick or heavy. The lock itself is decent enough.For a bicycle this would be great as I reckon it could go in a decent rucksack or pannier if you dont mind the extra weight.It is shorter and not as heavy duty compared to an Oxford Chain lock if you want to judge it on that basis, and Oxford arent great either so go figure.Like I said its just to give the thieves an extra bit of a pain in the arse, so based on that its good value for money

It looks like a secure lock. The padlock on it is built from some sort of plastic so I'm not too sure if it will stand up against thieves but I know that they wont be able to cut through the chain easily. Good lock for chaining up bike in town. Overall good lock just heavy to carry so I would advise only carrying lock with you if you really need it.

Great chain for the price. I chose this over other bike lock chains as a permanent primary lock for home (in an outdoor unsecure bike storage). It is very weighty and really not suited for carrying around. The 10mm links are great, and there is very little room to be able to cut the lock itself.Would recommend as a lock to not carry around.

Looked really good quality so ordered it got it on time was impressed with it.used it about a week and the lock packed up got in touch with the supplier he replaced lock straight away no problemI am very happy with it and very happy with the supplier

This item is bulky, heavy and robust! The padlock is superb and the chain uses hardened steel. If you plan to use this for a mountain bike or BMX then note the weight, I use it on my BMX but its extremely heavy if you plan to do long distances.

Probably won't stop a determined bike thief but it might make them move onto someone else's bike!It seems sturdy and well constructed and it is definitely good value for money.

Nice strong lock, but I had quite a struggle to open it with the keys, once I had it on the item I also struggled to get the lock back together again.

Excellent lock, works well outdoors, many locks similar need some sort of lubricant after a while being used outside but this has not been the case

Excellent chain with good deterrent properties. Heavy and solid. Should deter all but the most determined of thieves

Heavy duty chain with electroplating which protects agains corrosion. It is a very good chain for the low price

wicked lock only fits together one way but you soon get used to it well made and strong great product ;-)

It's good for locking things up, but not very good for wearing around your neck as decorative jewellery

Good chain would deter the opportunist thief, locks a bit plasticy on the outside but does the job

Excellent quality - bargain price. It was hard to find a second hand one as good for the price!
