Received this (although we ordered the Rip Rider, but it was too late to swap as my son's birthday was the next day)...anyway, he loves it! he is short for his age, (just turned 7), and the seat doesn't adjust, but we have used a cushion to push him forward enough to reach he pedals, and I'm thinking he's going to be tall enough one day...in the meantime the cushion works fine.He has never shown an interest in riding a normal bike before as he isn't very confident physically and would rather not try something he thinks he won't be able to do (argh!), however this worked a treat in improving his confidence with pedalling and steering, so much so that he now wants to try a proper bike as well.

These were purchased for a playscheme. The delivery was on time and even a message giving us an hour slot that they would be with us.Easy to assemble which was good as the kids were eager to get their hands on them.The kids thoroughly enjoyed every minute they spent on them and kept asking for the to be out for use the next day.We had brought 3 from Toys R Us but paid over the odds as we were in a rush to get them.....If I'd seen them on here sooner we would have had a few more with the savings we would have made......Great price and great product......I've even had a great time racing them and spinning them around.

My son, 6, loves his flashrider - however, it is not a toy that can be used like an ordinary bike, you need a lot of open space in order to maximise the fun. Unfortunately the flash part fell out one day and my son automatically uses the handle as if it were a brake - not great when going fast and it's just scraping along the floor. The blue flashrider would probably be better, just because of this.We took this to a big open space where we live and the amount of comments and questions we got were unreal, it really is a great little bike and people were fascinated! Great buy.

This is a brilliant thing: a go-kart, really, but with castors to the rear, thus encouraging 360-degree spins. And the thing that generates sparks is terrific, especially in the dusk of a winter's evening!Not so good in a straight line - so a wide, possibly sloping? - area is needed.Oh: it's not adjustable - my son is a small 10-year-old (140 cms or so), who'll probably have grown out of it (physically) before the year is out.

Bought as a Birthday gift for my 6year old grandsonhe loves it and is having tremendous fun whizzing aroundWe can pop it into car easily to transport, so will be able to use it in the park and on the downs etcthe instructions were easy to follow and the machine went together well until we tried to connect the sea, the holes were not exact, however a little bit of patience and we got thereA nice sturdy machine

Absolutely brilliant delivered fast easy to put together I even tried it myself as it's a gift for my sons 4th birthday (tried him on them at a toy shop to make sure he could ride them) he is gonna love itAs it was hard for me to decide whether it would be too big for a 4th birthday I can actually say my average size 3yrs 11 month old son can ride them hopefully this will help others decide too

Bought for 8yr old daughter who first saw this in a major toy store at about £30 more than paid with Amazon in March 2013 before price rise so also got a bargain!!! Daughter totally made up as unaware of purchase! She is out on it everytime its not raining whilst her friends are on bikes and are a little envious and now asking their parents for one!!! Thank you Amazon a very happy daughter!

Brought this for my 5 year son for his birthday. First wasnt sure about it but my son absolutely love it. Being only 5ft 3in I was able to go on it and can see why he wanted one. Its easy to get it to drift and making spark was brillant. Defiantly recommend it to anyone but advice knee pads elbow pads incase fall off my son managed to get it go really fast and lifted wheel off floor.

I bought this for my 6 year old son for Christmas and he loves it. He has been using it a lot and loves the sparks. The only negative is we noticed one of the seat screws missing and unfortunately not sure when it came out so not been able to find it. Its still sturdy enough with the remaining screws. The frame seems very strong too so hopefully it will last a good while.

This is a great kart. I bought this for my 8yr old son and it is a perfect fit and there is growing room in it too! The spark cartridge has fallen out a couple of times but goes back in very easy. He loves spinning on it, but you do need a lot of space to have all the fun! I would recommend this to anyone who has a child that enjoys a bit of daredevil excitement !

This is the second one of this sort we have bought our eldest grandson and he thinks its great. He used the initial one that much that it got to the point where it could no longer be repaired (bearing and wheels worn out), hence we got this one.His siblings are now asking whether they can have one too.

i have a daredevil child who loves the outdoors no matter what the weather we have bought all kinds of gadgets in the past and this has proved to be the one he loves best it is easy to use and spins round with no danger of tipping very well designed so a must for great fun and childhood memories

Bought for my grandson's 6th birthday. He loved it and soon got the hang of riding it. He needed a small cushion in his back to be able to get the most out of it as he hasn't got very long legs. He said it was the best birthday present ever!

My son absolutely loves it and so do all the other kids in the street they find it great fun. The only negative is that the plate that makes the sparks wears down very quickly and they are quite expensive to replace for what they are.

Brilliant- bought for my 7 year olds birthday. Girls/boys from 5-10(probably beyond) couldn’t get enough. Perfect present. Is red and I know quite a few people who will now been buying this after seeing the hours of fun they had
