I had low expectations of of this machine but it exceeded everything that I would ever want in an epilator I have a condition that I like to rip out my hairs, but this is exactly what I needed .it takes out all the fine little wispy hairs and all the long ones I have tried it in my pubic area on my legs on my back on my chin and on my arms and under my arms it is perfect .first of all when you use it it tingles a little bit but you'll soon get used to it the more you use it.I have used it in the bath and have used it on the dry side .and it is excellent on both it delivers what it says on the box I would highly recommend this to anyone especially if you have problems with hairs like I do I

All this time i've been using razors and electric shaver.Never think about buying an epilator at all.Then i got sent the Advanced Satinelle epilator that i was a bit reluctant to use but after reading reviews,i decided to give it a go.I'm very impressed with this fantastic epilator.I can confirmed that Philips has made so much improvements over the years.I used it first in the shower and it was amazing how my legs were smooth after.I didn't feel that very bad pain which got me scared to use it at first.Its not 100% pain free but its not that very bad either.I've used it on dry skin too but i preferred using it while in the shower as the tickling is not that bad.My hair took a while to grow

I have used many different epilator brands and models since I first started epilating over 15 years ago and this epilator is by far the best I have ever tried. It is comfortable to hold and does not slip out of the hand, even when used wet in the shower. I love the curved head which makes it so much easier to glide over difficult areas such as knees and underarms without pinching the skin. The extra wide head means that more hairs are picked up with every stroke and now it takes me half as long to epilate. The ceramic discs are textured in such a way that they grip even the tiniest of hairs and pull it out rather than break the hair mid-shaft - something my previous epilator regularly did!

Having tried numerous epilators over the years, I would always choose Phillips and I would now always choose a wet dry version as I find wet epilation to be easier (less painful, but not pain-free) with the least amount of fuss.This epilator is more versatile than many with 5 attachments and can be used on the face as well as the body/legs. As you would expect from a wet dry epilator - it is cordless to prevent nasty accidents in the bath or shower and it holds its charge long enough to do a number of epilations before recharging, although I tend to recharge after each use so that I know that I won't be left half plucked in the bathroom,

I have used epilators for many years, and I'm lucky in the respect that I am fairer and my hairs on my legs are quite fine anyway.All previous epilators I have used have been the shorter wider ones, this is longer and the grip is easier I think. It glides well over the leg area, with only a 'tickling' type of sensation, but maybe I don't feel it as much because my hair is finer. The light on it is brilliant, as you can see any hairs you may have missed. It has 2 speed settings. I tend to use the faster one on my legs and the slower one underarms, which suits me.It can be used wet or dry which is convenient, but personally I prefer to use it on dry skin.Hair removal is excellent,

When I received this epilator, I was a bit skeptical because of the negative reviews I have read on this site. I have been using it for 9 months on my legs and I am TOTALLY satisfied with it. It is very fast ( I spent less than 40 min for both legs ) and not as painful as I expected. YES the first time it will hurt you, NO it won't remove all your small hairs ( even though I noticed that it removes very very tiny hairs but I guess it depends on the nature of your hair) but this is how epilators work.I have tried to use it on my armpits with little success however, but I won't blame the epilator. I always found very hard to remove hair in this area. Anyway I think it is a great epilator and I find the LED light verrry useful.

The Philips Satinelle Advanced Wet and Dry Epilator is a fantastic product that makes shaving your legs so much easier and is far better than shaving. It's ceramic discs pluck out the finest of hair to leave you with nice smooth legs for a longer time than shaving. It's easy to use and not at all painful though I do recommend using it whilst wet rather than on dry skin, the Epilator comes with a easy to understand instructions manual and a neat little bag which is great for travelling or to store it in. I highly recommend the Philips Sanitelle Advanced Wet snd Dry Epilator, doesn't break the bank to buy it's reasonable price tag is worth every penny for excellent results every time [This review

The satainelle epliator advanced is a excellent product.It has 5 attatchments, 2 speed setting and can be used wet or dry.I would advise to try areas on lower setting to build up a tolerance to the epilation.1st using the epilator was a little painful but once getting used to the pain it was straight forward.It has a light on the epilator itself, so you can see with a bright light where the hairs are.It can be used on all area's, including delicate. However im not brave enough to try this as of yet.Feels comfortable in hand, very reasonable length of time you can use it before needs a re-charge & charge time is quick!Overall excellent product for all.

I am very excited about this product! I have always shaved or occasionally waxed but hate having to go to the salon and wait for hair to grow. Shaving is annoying as it has to be done virtually every other day to avoid feeling stubbly!So anyway epilated for first time yesterday. I was scared of the pain so initially used in shower under hot water. It did hurt slightly but totally bearable. I was impressed with results.I now have super smooth legs which will last much longer than shaving!My legs are red/rashy looking and itchy just like after waxing but I know this will be gone by the morning.In my opinion it's well worth it and I'm an epilator convert!

I was sceptical at first as i was worried it would be painful to use & yes it is uncomfortable but you do soon get used to it & after a couple of uses it no longer bothered me. It's very easy to use wet or dry & has a really handy light to see even the finest hairs, although i did find that it struggled to catch any hair too fine or short. The quick charge is great as you use the epilator less often, it's handy to be able to quickly charge the unit at short notice & having 2 speeds is handy as the slower speed is better suited to eplilate underarm & bikini line. Overall i'm very impressed & have definately been converted to a regular epilator user.

Having never used a depilator before and being averse to waxing and threading due to the pain, I was understandably nervous about using this. It IS painful but it's bearable depending on where you use it. It basically feels like a lot of pin pricks against the skin but there's no pain afterwards and no skin irritation so straight away, it's better than waxing in my opinion. The first time you use it will be the most painful because of the amount of hair; it's less pain on subsequent uses because the hair will regrow at different rates. You do need to go over the same area a few times to get all the hair but it's still pretty quick. Good value for money given the price

I have been trialling this product now for a couple of weeks and find it easy to use and no where near as painful as other epilators I have used. I have used it both in and out of the shower and this epilator is such an easy one to hold. This has left my hair growth minimal and it has taken at lot longer to come back. This epilator doesn’t need charging very often either with charge lasting a while! This is easy to clean and I have enjoyed trialling this product. The epilator is easy to use and I really like the design as it was easy to grip and angle even when wet. Being able to use it wet and dry was also very useful. First time I used it I didn’t find that it gripped hairs as well as I had anticipated but after longer use this appeared to get better, although perhaps not as good at removing short hairs as it claims to be. Battery life could be better I feel, as it had to be recharged after only two uses. Overall it’s a good epilator and I would continue to use it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The product is simple to use and i love the bright light helps me try to get all the nuance hairs that i could have otherwise missed.I love the fact this product has made me change my mind on epilators, i never used them as i was fearful that they would be so painful. This product dispelled those thoughts as you don't even feel it, its so quick there is no pain. I would highly recommend this product but the reason for 4 and not 5 stars is i found that some shorter hairs were not epilated. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

It obviously isn't painless - what epilator is? But, this epilator is less painful than others I have tried. I would recommend using it in the shower, but either wet or dry use sees good results. It comes with different heads, which means you can use it successfully across the body. It also has a shape which makes it easy to hold and use, and it can be easily charged. The hair does not grow back quickly which is great - you only need minimal maintenance between uses! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
