This is a new design or the Pearl Izumi Elite Glove. I put thousand of miles on the previous design PI gloves and liked them. These new gloves are better. They have more padding and in different and better areas. The fit strap is a better design. I bought my regular size XL and the gloves fit me perfectly.The only issue that I see as a potential problem for some road bike riders is the padding is a bit stiffer or harder than the previous PI Elite Gloves. I can see where depending on one's hands and how and where they place their handing on long rides such as 2 plus hours 25 plus miles might find the padding itself a bit uncomfortable. I've worn these gloves and on a couple of 50 mile rides and they were fine for me.

LOVE THESE GLOVES!!! Comfortable for long rides and great when signaling. Very easy to put on and take off. Excellent cushion. Color fades after a few washes but I put a lot of miles (150-200 miles per week) on them and wash them each time.

Excellent gloves that are well padded, ventilated & look good. The small reflective strip over knuckles of the two small fingers is a stylish & functional feature. Very comfortable in both wet & dry conditions over long and short rides.

Pearl Izumi quality is always excellent, however, the padding, while very firm, will take some time to evaluate the placement of the individual pads. Additionally I prefer gloves that one can slip on as opposed to Velcro tabs.

Love these gloves. The dark color doesn't show sweat & dirt as fast as brighter colors. Comfortable, velcro fastens securely & easily. Would recommend. I'm a advid road biker who rides 25-30 miles each day. They wear well.

Fit is great. Loops at the base of the ring and middle finger eases the pain of taking off fingerless gloves. Nice reflective patch on back of glove and sweat patch on back of thumb is a lot more absorbent than it looks.

Halfway through my first ride with them, I remembered that I had my new gloves on. The fact that I didn't notice them and that they felt like my well broken in gloves reassured me that I made the right purchase.

No complaints, this is a great gloves, I had their predecessors, and I will buy another pair when I finally wear out these ones in a couple of years (I ride daily).

Buy a bigger size than you need. I would go for small, but the first gloves I bought were too small. Went with a large on my second order and it was fine.

I rode for 35 hours over a 3 day period. These gloves kept my hands as cool as possible, and I had no cramps or pains in my hands. Worth every penny.

I use a wheelchair and needed some gloves to protect my hands from the treads of my tires and the dirt from my wheels. the gloves are comfortable.

I may just purchased the wrong size. Tried them a few times and my hands go numb pretty quickly. went back to my old gloves.

Frays a little around the index finger. I've only had them for one season, about 40 rides. Love the feel and comfort.

Fit well. Worth the price. Purchased these to replace an old pair of Pearl Izumi that were at least 5 years old.
