I searched high and low for cool weather gloves with palm cushioning, until I found these. It seemed many of the full finger gloves don't have the cushioning like the warm weather gloves do (the gloves with fingers cut off). Other full finger gloves I found were made for super cold weather and were too bulky. I wanted something for 40 - 60 degree weather that would keep the chill off. These gloves do the trick. They keep my hands warm on Southern California cool/cold mornings. They have the palm cushioning appropriate for road bike use. Like some of the other reviews indicate there are some seams on the fingers that make themselves known, however it is not troublesome enough to deter my use of these gloves. They also are smart phone compatible as the thumb and index finger have something in them to allow use of the phone while wearing the glove. These gloves are just what I was looking for!

I've had dozens of different cycling gloves and these are my current favorites. Best for me between 40 and 60 degrees, and I can go cooler with shells over them. In warmer weather, they breath well and my hands don't get clammy and sweaty as with other gloves. They are true to size, and fit my hands perfectly. Fingers are long enough to give me control and comfort, never binding at finger tips or base of fingers. The touch-screen finger tips work perfectly for phone or cyclometer. They are brightly colored and reflective for visibility day or night. The gauntlets are long enough to cover my jersey sleeve-ends, so no breezy gaps in cold weather.Easy to remove and put on and they machine wash and dry without issues.

Do you enjoy cold hands? If you answered yes than skip these gloves. I can easily ride my bike in the mid 30s F without getting cold. My fat bike is my primary weapon of choice in the colder months, but it doesn’t have any suspension other than the massive amount of rubber at the wheels. My hands would get a little beat up on longer rides wearing my non padded gloves that I prefer the rest of the year, these gloves don’t make the discomfort go away but do substantially reduce it. Pearl always makes a quality product and these are no different. You may want to get a few pairs so when your hands get sweaty you can throw a pair in the wash.

These are lightweight gloves with gel padding on the palms, but no added insulation. The rating on the package says they are for temperatures from 40-60 degrees. That feels about right. I chose size large based on the measurements in the size chart and my pair fits perfectly. Take a tape measure and wrap it around your hand at its widest point; then compare that measurement to the size ranges on the chart. I haven't taken them for a ride yet, but they feel comfortable enough and I don't expect any problems (I will edit this if anything arises). I have tried them out on the touch screen of my phone and they work just fine for that.

nice gloves - could ask for a tad more in the padding department (specifically, i ride a mtn bike with bar ends and end up riding mostly on the pinky end of the heel of my hand), but that's picking nits. these fit well on an average-sized hand of a 5'10" caucasian male. 2 reflective features (small stripe on pointer finger and the brand name is reflective on back of hand)- I added a bit more with iron-on reflective stickers. I'd buy these again for fall/spring weather gloved (in the midwest) - no regrets.

They fit well. They softened up nicely after a few rides. They let you feel the ride. Not overly padded so grip is very positive. Depending on your individual tolerance for cold weather and wind, they worked well for me at 35°F and above. At 40°F and above they were great. Touch pad feature in the index and thumb work and are a function how well those fingers fill the glove. If it is too cold to to operate your smart phone with your gloves off maybe it’s time to come inside.

I bought these based on a recommendation from my son who races mountain bikes in high school. He said that they work well in the summer as well as when it gets cold. I wore them for the first time in 41º weather and worked great. Gel pads really helped with circulation (preventing numb hands). I gave a 1-star deduction on comfort because they had 5 tags in one glove! This deduction is charged against their legal department and not Product Development.

Gloves have exceeded expectations. Very comfortable, grip on the 1st and 2nd fingers work well with contact points on shifters and brakes respectively. Gloves block wind chill but manage to remain thin enough for tactile feedback. The padding is perfectly aligned with the riding position no matter if your on the flats, horns or drops. Makes a big difference when a product is designed correctly and not a generic substitution. Thank you Pearl Izumi.

Fits really well, really hugs my hands yet keeps them dry, cool, and comfy. It keeps the palms of my hands nice comfy when riding for hours and the gel is very nice and supple. The fingers however don't do a superb job with warmth when it's around 40 degrees Fahrenheit and below, luckily it only gets that low and slight occasions were I live and these gloves will do just fine when it comes to night rides and keeping my hands from numbing up.

Very comfortable gloves while riding. They fit me well. After about 50 miles there is a bit of pilling only on the right glove, but nothing concerning. I think the limit of these gloves is about 40 degrees for me. With a recent ride for 45 minutes in 45 degree weather with 15 mph winds, my fingertips were definitely feeling chilly. Not sure how much colder I can ride in these gloves. Overall I'm happy with them though.

These are decent gloves that take the chill off. Not for riding on bitter cold days, but I've worn them in the high 30s without complaint. My only issue is that they are a little larger than the same size Pearl iZUMi fingerless I have. I bought the XLs thinking they would be close to the same, but these are a bit baggy in the fingers. Not a deal breaker, and I'd buy them again.

Keeps my hands warm, but they do sweat quite a bit in any temp over 50 degrees. Here in Central Texas, the winter months can start out in the 30's and end up in the 70's before the end of the ride. These gloves gloves do not have enough ventilation to avoid that wet clammyness as it warms up and it looks like I will have to still carry two sets of gloves on longer rides.

Great gloves. Bought up a size because I will use them in colder than recommended temperatures. First Ride today at about 0c (32f), was great. Hands didn't really get cold and they didn't sweat either. However, stopping to take photos hands got cold so put on my thin Merino glove liners (outdoor research). Also, operating phone was easy with gloves on. Highly recommend!

I was originally debating about returning these but I've gotten used to them. The padding seems to be adequate and in the right spots for road bike riding. I have been using them for about a month (December in Los Angeles) and they've been comfortable. I don't know if I'd be quite so happy if I were in Minnesota but for 40's and 50's they work.

I guess that tells you what you need to know. I've been mountain biking since the sport was invented, and while these gloves came out much later, they too go back a ways..Very comfortable, and reasonably durable. They don't last forever, but they don't fall apart either. Mountain biking is, after all, hard on everything! - )
