I bought this 21mm cone wrench to carry on my electric bike as a roadside repair tool, to loosen and tighten the nuts on the rear axle where the hub motor is mounted. That's actually tool abuse, as cone wrenches are intended to reach in narrow slots, and are not intended for high torque. I don't really torque the axle nuts all that much to avoid stressing the ale bearings, and while it looks goofy to have this very narrow wrench on that big beefy nut, it works well enough that I use this cone wrench at home whenever I need to tighten or loosen the axle nuts. I've bought many of these Park laser cut wrenches with vinyl dipped handles and they never disappoint. They're sized to properly fit the fastener and the steel has a temper that makes them more durable than they appear, although as mentioned above, these are not high torque wrenches. I've bought Park cone wrenches for bicycle use, but I also buy them to change ER collets on CNC machine tools in the shop. These are good quality wrenches that are light weight and easy to handle, and they're very reasonably price.

I saw this wrench at my local bike shop for twice the price as Amazon. I ordered it here and got it just in case I needed it when I switched out my pedals on the new bike that was coming in the mail. It was a good thing I got this! When my bike arrived, I had also ordered some Shimano A530 pedals and I realized that I HAD to put them on since the bike came without pedals! I should have realized that was the case but didn't pay much attention to the pedals while ordering the bike.Anyway, This wrench made quick work of the pedals and helped me avoid trying to use my far-too-thick standard wrenched in the garage that couldn't grip the pedal at all. This wrench is comfortable to use and isn't somecheap stamped wrench like others I've seen for sale from China. If you have any need of a good wrench for pedals, or anything requiring a thinner wrench, BUY THIS WRENCH!

I like to do my own bike tune-ups, and have been building up my tool set. I've settled on getting the Park brand wrenches because they are sturdy, have well machined jaws, and the coated handles are more comfortable when you have to pull hard on a tightly jammed nut. They cost a little more but I think they will last me about forever. I just buy them individually as I need them.Cone wrenches are a much thinner wrench than automotive open-end wrenches, and are used on bicycle hubs and pedals where a narrow clearance is required. These are heavier, so they are best for a tool set for home or the garage. Which is pretty much where I'm working on my bike.Lighter tools are handier for carrying on trips.

Well I change a lot of brakes on imports such as Honda and Toyota cars and the caliper sliding pins on these types of cars usually require two wrenches turning in counter direction of each other to loosen the bolt that holds the caliper to the rotor bracket. The thing is all my wrenches (Matco, Gearwrench, Pittsburg) are too fat to fit in the inner nut of the caliper so I some times have to use vise grips, which works but sometimes damages or rounds out the nut. That is bad! This cone wrench is perfect for what I do, however I do recommend using them gently as the metal is very thin on these wrenches.I got this 17mm and another 19mm.

I've had a Detailier glider chair for about 12 years now. The bolts needed to be tightened a bit, and a conventional wrench was too thick to fit in between the slats of wood. I tried a thin check nut wrench and a super thin (3mm) wrench and both of them were still too wide to fit. So I decided to try a 2mm bicycle cone wrench made by Park Tools. It worked great. The pictures of these tools don't really do them justice, but they are very good quality, sturdy tools and I highly reccommend them for bicycles and glider chairs.

I work on a lot of bikes so I own a ton of Park Tool products. This cone wrench is really just the same story as all their other tools. It is very well made and available at reasonable price. I can almost guarantee this wrench will last your lifetime and beyond plus even if you do manage to damage it Park Tool will replace it free of charge. If you need a cone wrench don't waste your money on the cheaper options as they rarely will last a year of moderate use. Can't beat Park Tool.

I was trying to replace a bent axle but didn't have a thin enough wrench to loosen the bearing cone and lock nut. After debating on grinding down one of my combo wrenches, I decided to hold off and buy this tool. I'm glad I did because it is a well made tool for a reasonable price and the combo wrench didn't fit over the flats as snuggly as this tool does. Also, it is longer than a standard combo wrench and has a rubberized handle for comfort.

Park makes high quality stuff, for sure. However, a thin cone wrench like this series lacks a bit of precision on the size of the opening and is just slightly loose as a result. When torquiing down a nut or whatever of this size, the torque can distort the jaws of the wrench fairly easily. So, maybe it's not an objection about the Park tool. It may just be too much to ask for a wrench this size to deal with the torque pressures.

I did not purchase this for my Bicycle, though I am sure it would work well for that. I used this wrench to tighten the sleeve on my Delta wood shaper. The wrench is low profile, strong and fits the 22mm sleeve exactly. It is good quality. If I need any other large flat wrenches for my wood working tools I will look at this manufacture again. I put a fair amount of force on this wrench and it seems to hold up quite nicely.

I needed a cone wrench for wheel maintenance and as always Park Tools has a quality tool for the job. I have to confess I've always taken shortcuts instead of using a cone wrench and it always took too much time. Well worth to purchase the sizes you need for the job to make everything effortless.Park Tools is not inexpensive, but for specific bicycle tools they are my go-to because of their quality and durability.

This wrench, like other Park tools, is well made to work well and last a long time. Because it is more expensive, a full set is prohibitively expensive for some, but since these are sold individually, even commoners like me can afford the one or two I need for my bikes. If you want high quality tools, this is a great investment to do the minor repairs and upgrades that some of us enjoy. Highly recommended.

Unlike the typical specialized bike tool,23mm happens to be a common size forfaucet supply compression nuts.It also works for some bottom brackets, for whicha conventional 23mm open-end wrench might be better, but this turned out to be cheaper than most of those.23mm happens to be one of the few larger metric dimensions forwhich no typical nearest-16th-inch wrench suitably substitutes.

Just buy them all, you'll never guess the right size. Seriously though, they got like two different sizes on each wheel so you need at least two of these. I was estimating the size in a rush so I sometimes ended up with one too big or too small thereby requiring me to use these with an improvised solution. I gotta get a couple of more of these but next time I'll try to measure the nuts first.

High quality tool, I will not hesitate purchasing tools from this company in the future. As noted in other reviews, the 19mm wrench is perfect for removing spray head on Central Pneumatic air gun. Happy to support Park Tools, a made in USA company. BTW you really do need to disassemble the CP spray gun before initial use, a lot of greasy gunk inside that must be removed before first use.

This is exactly what I needed to change the print nozzle on my Monoprice Maker Select 3D printer. The wrench is thin enough that it holds the heat block while the head is heated and the nozzle is changed. Saves me a lot of time, I don't have to take apart the entire top end to change the nozzle or a clog now. Worth every penny I spent. Wrench is of good quality, not cheap or tinny.
