They look excellent and they grip well they were easy to put on and they ride good should to not only handle road but a bit of gravel too the quality is good but it has one little flaw and that the black rubber from the tire in one place on the 2 tires I bought they over flow like 2 centimeters in one or 2 places although it’s barely noticeable it’s still a flaw and they also came a bit mangled up from them being stored in not the best was but al that took was for them to be pulled at each end and to get it on the rim and put a fair bit of air and then they were just fine good thick tires and ok for the money

I like these tires so much this is my second set! My first set was called the Pasela TG (Tour Guard), they changed the end to PT (Pro Tite) I never got a flat on the TG's, and they lasted about 3,500 miles. On the internet the old TG series had an issue with proper curing at the factory and some sidewalls split, Panaracer replaced those customer tires, this is probably the reason they changed the name to PT. The TG set I had never had any issues. For the price these are the best tires I've found, others I've had were susceptible to flats, and lasted about half as long.

This is my 2nd set. I had some 25mm on my vintage road bike and they were great with very low rolling resistance. However in recent years the streets in Chicago have gotten much worse. So I ordered a set of 28mm width tires to better cope with the roads. They add a bit more cushion over the rough stuff but still roll easy. The gum wall gives the right "look" for my old Raleigh too. These are light weight tires and best suited to paved roads. I have not had any problems with either set I've had for the riding I do.

Bought these to replace Schwalbe Luganos which were paper thin after several years of riding. Unable of find the tan side wall Lugano I opted for these. I was shocked at how amazing my bike is to ride with these on. I had no idea what a difference these would make. Well worth the extra few £££ for the Pasela. My bike and cycling in London has taken on a whole new lease of life. Wish Id bought them years ago.

Got the 28s for a Trek 1500 SLR that I commandeered as a touring rig. These are burly tires, I’ve put over 600 miles on them including 170 laden with over 50 lbs of gear, plus lots of commuting and gravel riding. They have held up great, are plenty quick on pavement and are holding up well. No flats so far. Am quick to recommend to others.

I have been looking for these tires for 10 years. These tires are amazing. Very light and nimble, high pressure, good rolling. I have done >1000 miles on them -urban riding and rough trails. No prob. The two flats so far were from failed tubes. Get extruded inner tubes without seams. Most 1.25" tubes can't handle 100 psi.

I haven’t even installed these tires yet. Due to getting in an accident, damaging both wheels, including myself. I’m recovering slowly.., still plan on using the Pasela’s tires, will write a view, when I get my touring bike back on the road!

These 27 x 1 1/4 tires fit my rims perfectly and seated easily. The sidewalls did seem to be either thinner or more flexible than the earlier version of the tire (Tour Guard) that I had worn out.

I've put around 500 miles on these tires, street riding. I've had no punctures. There is no visible wear. They are the appropriate style of tire for my 1993 bianchi boardwalk.

Only road them a few miles so far but they felt great on my commuter/adventure bike. They look awesome too!I will try and update in the future after more miles on them.

thin rims with bigger tires 1 1/4, these sidewalls will rip. proper 1 inch tire with thin rims 13 mm interior. no problems so far. look good for the 80s bike.

I've used this tire exclusively on my commuting bicycle. It is very durable and performs well in all weather conditions. I believe it is a good value.

I bought these to cut down on flats. I do a lot of road riding. I have road them on dry and wet roads. They seem to grip pretty good.

Awesome tires to ride, they look superb on my vintage Peugeot. Now be mindful that they fit smaller, a 700x28 fits as a 700x26

significantly lighter than the tires that came with my bike, sturdy with very little road noise. Bonus, they're very stylish
