I've used Michelin Lithion's folding tyres for training as a repeat purchaser for several years. Why? Because I find them grippy yet responsive, not overly heavy and thus rolling well, yet having sufficient puncture protection to keep all but the most vicious thorns at bay. The updated '2' version comes in a range of sidewall colours to match or contrast your steed, I chose red and it's a very close match to the bike's paintwork. I've just swapped these tyres for the pair that came with the bike (made by a different manufacturer) and these feel instantly a mile or two an hour quicker. These 700c x 23 tyres are a little tight to fit at first but experience says they ease with age as they adapt to their inflated shape,

Never got these from Amazon but thought I'd write a quick review.1. Never used folding tires before.2. Had a WTF! moment when I saw the state of them once I removed the packaging.3. Found them rather easy to fit and didn't need tire levers, was able to push them on with my fingers.4. Easily inserted inner tube.5. Pumped them up to 120 psi and not the 116 max as per tire recommendation.6. Just done a short / rapid 22 mile run on them on bumpy / very bumpy surfaces and they seem fine.7. Have been using overpriced Gator Skins for years paying x3£ what these cost.8. Came with free inner tubes.Anyhoo! would have gave them 5 stars but have only done 22 mile. Once I've done substantially more,

EXCELLENT TYRE FOR THE MONEY, USED ON LONDON TO BRIGHTON BIKE RIDE WITH NO ISSUES, WAS CONFIDENT INTO THE CORNERS, WOULD ADVISE RUNNING IN FOR A FEW DAYS BEFORE THEY GAIN MAXIMUM GRIP.Also feel slightly spongy which helps absorb some of the front end vibrations and aids comfort but still roll very well.THE DIFFERENT COLOUR OPTIONS LOOK GREAT ON THE BIKE TOO.A definate improvement over my previous Hutchinson equinox 2 tyres that came with my bike.

I now drive almost 2000 km with the tire. Have previously driven the Michelin Pro 3 Service Course and this (clearly) cheaper model looks very little to his big brother. Rolling resistance is of course somewhat higher, but otherwise no complaints. Have never caught a plate and ah in the wet, the grip is satisfactory. Therefore, clear purchase recommendation and super alternative to the Pro 4 models.

Sturdy tyre, fits well, ridden a couple hundred miles on them now with no punctures (in hedge cutting season as well) The untreaded portion of the middle of the tyre offers little resistance and the treads on either side give a little confidence, unlike my last tyres which had no tread all over. Got mine with the blue walls, looks really good too.

Have used these tyres before. Usual Michelin quality. Hold the road well (wet or dry) and last a long time. OK so they are not a race tyre but excellent for general use and good value.

Almost indestructable - for training purposes and the avoidance of punctures on crapppy Uk roads, these work a treat. Look good, feel fine, no issues with cornering.

Tire (from 23) easy to mount on Shimano WH-R501 with the inner tube size A1. Good road grip. A great product at a more than affordable price.
