I bought these for cycling the camino de santiago in may 2019. I had looked at cheaper options with great reviews but knowing I was going to be doing long days with hard terrain, I wanted the peace of mind that all my clothes etc would be safe & dry. I needn't have worried. These are fantastic to use. the clip on & off the frame system works beautifully, so simple but very effective. even on rough terrain on fast descents, they stayed put. They come with clip in adaptors to match the frame size of your rack, so they will fit securely on a variety of different diameter frames, brilliant!. They are tough & 100% waterproof, the 1st day going over the pyrenees was in torrential rain, which lasted for 3 days,

They arrived on time, were a fair price (cheaper than from high street stores!) I only gave them 4 stars are they were slightly marked on arrival, from them rattling around in the box the package was sent in, probably as there was no 'padding' in with them.Overall quite impressed with the product, they do what they're set out to do effectively, and so far seem quite waterproof. They're quite spacious too, I've have had various things in them from a weekends camping gear to the weekly shop! The quick release clips are quite handy, you just grap the handle, give a we tug and they come off the bike quick and easy!I'd reccomend them to folk looking for a well designed good quality pannier.

Like many other reviewers, these Ortlieb bags are 'the business'. A little bit of messing trying inserts for the Bor Yueh rear rack (20 yrs old) and moving the locks, but reading the information leaflet and a bit of patience got the job done. The bags have plenty of room and the back roll is easy and with the straps makes it so easy to take off and carry away. Great to be able to put on either side quickly. The colour is great and the luminous patch is a good safety feature. I am very pleased with the product and although its in the top price bracket it is well worth it.

After researching back panniers the Ortlieb Back-Roller Classic seemed to be one of the best and they were at a very competitive price at BikeInn. They arrived promptly and I am impressed with their quality and the ease with which they attached to the bike. I haven´t tested them on a tour yet but at present can´t fault them as panniers - however it would have been better if they could be latched together as I want to use them as hand luggage on a plane and can´t see how to do this easily.

I have just completed a 1500 kilometre European tour with these new bags where they had everything thrown at them. They are tough, functional, stylish and Waterprrof. Excellent. So pleased I chose this model.They have two internal pockets in each bag, one zip pocket and one deeper open pocket which proved really useful for documents such as printed boat tickets etc which needed to be kept dry but reasonably accessible whilst on the road.I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Cracking packs with a great attachment system, once you get your head around it! I would prefer there to be an external pouch for organising your gear, but that is a small gripe for such great packs. The mesh stuff that is used for the inner pocket is also a bit poor maybe. And the inner pocket could do with being a bit bigger for my uses. All in all, though, I would never go back to my old cheap panniers with the ridiculously difficult to remove clips!

Love these bags. Very good quality, completely water proof, and attach/detach system is great.the _one_ small thing I didn't like when attaching the pannier to the bike frame, it felt like I had to hack it a bit to make it work. Specifically the top part attaching close to the bike seat. It might be that my bike was shaped differently but I did have to force a bit to make it work. But that's it, the rest is great.

Highly recommended. Only had them a short time but using almost every day. Extremely durable and strong. Perfect capacity for my needs and role up to smaller size when required. Seem to be secure even over rough off road tracks. Will not hesitate to buy again. Have them matched with a Topeak super tourist dx rack that is also highly recommended. No issues with either of these products so far, impressive quality.

a month that comes to make cycling northern Vietnam ago. The Ortileb saddlebags were wonderful, especially in rain. Not enter even a drop of water. Also say that if someone should travel by bike you buy the handlebars going up - this will be my next purchase -. They are great to bring your camera, passport, radio or telephone. A colleague of mine wore them. Ah! you can carry as a handbag through the city.

These panniers are not cheap but well worth the money. Easy to assemble and sturdy and waterproof. The only thing is you have to make sure you tighten the nut on the rack holder when taking it off and carrying them around. I didn't and it fell off when I was in the supermarket and I had to buy a replacement. They can come off easily if not tight. Apart from that quality product.

I have a full set of these panniers in solid black and then another set in red. They are rugged and durable. They have carried my gear every day to and from work and on long cycle tours around the world. They have not leaked once. I have total confidence that my stuff inside will stay dry. They are the best panniers on the market. Period. Buy cheap buy twice.

Used them for a trip to France and they took quite a beating and still look like a million bucks. They hold a lot of space and very easy to configure so that they latch perfectly to the bike racks. It rained on us a couple of times and they kept everything dry. Very satisfied, am sure they will last a long time!

These are undoubtedly quality items which I managed to get for under £90.00. Bargain? I'm not sure. It's a lot of money for a glorified plastic bag. Admittedly they're probably the best panniers money can buy but I think they're too expensive for what they are, therefore losing one star.

you can really feel the quality, perfectly waterproof. I love the easy removal/fitting from the rack, ingenius to use the carrying handle to control the latching mechanism. really pleased to have invested in a good quality product that will last the test of time

Superior bags, they worth every penny.Usually I'm using just one bag more like an everyday bag. Cykling to work, commuting etc.Sturdy, waterproof, large space, easy to clean. Very good looking too.And what's important - made in Germany!!Quality product!
