My hair - being high porosity - literally seemed to drink this up. It's on the oily side though, so I'd recommend layering it over something more water based, and allowing an overnight 'soak' to give it time to be absorbed. The smell is pleasant enough (not sickly sweet like some black hair products). A little worrying that the jar is smaller than I'd expected, and as my hair is drinking it up at the rate of knots, I'm already half way through the jar(!) after just two applications.My disappointment with it is that, on closer inspection of the ingredients, I find that it has a little too much petroleum-based content for my liking. Consequently, it has a less natural feel on hand and in hair.

Following a disastrous diy attempt to strip red dye from my hair, and the subsequent professional highlights, my hair has been left dry and damaged. I've been trying to ease up on straightening my hair to let it recover but my natural thick frizzy waves are just a crazy mess.This stuff has been a godsend. I first applied it to the dry frizzy waves in the car after buying it- immediately the frizz was reduced and the dryness almost gone! I looked presentable again!Since then I've used it on wet hair with a little oil and it dries into beautifully defined loose curls with very little frizz. I'm honestly amazed.Second day hair is even better - a little of this stuff spread through my hair in the morning relaxes the curls into soft waves - no dryness,

I use this mostly on my daughter who has 4c(???, lol) African American hair. Her hair tends to be very dry & tangles/mats very easily if left in a style for more than a day. Using this hair creme I can easily comb through & detangle her hair. It also leaves her hair soft, shiny & very manageable. Ive even noticed substantial hair growth using this as it keeps her hair so moisturized & stops breakage. For me it only works well as a hand moisturizer. I have maybe 3b/3c African American hair. It makes my hair look dull & dry. It doesn't soften my hair like it does my daughter, it just kinda sits on top of it. This is probably the only ors product I can't use tho.

I have very thick curly hair and have always found it hard to find a good after shower hair cream. The ones I did find where very expensive usually and then after I finally found one it was discontinued. But one day shopping here on Amazon I ran across this hair cream and thought I would give it a try due to all the positive reviews ( One of things I love about amazon the reviews) Well, that was 6 months ago and I can tell you that this stuff really works well on curly thick thirsty dry hair. The best part is you don't need much, just a a little bit on your hands rub it in and you will love the control and look you get with this cream.

I put this on my hair every night before bed. I couldn't use as directed (styling my hair with it, it makes my hair much too greasy) but I didn't plan on that to begin with. I use it to help combat scalp psoriasis issues. But this has done a lot for my hair in general. It's super duper easy to wash out the next morning (WAY easier than using virgin coconut oil) and has left my hair softer and shinier than it's ever been.

Lovely texture to this cream and absorbs easily into your hair. A 50p size is enough for the ends of my hair. Since using this, combined the castor oil to seal, I’ve noticed a difference. My hair is shiny and stronger. I use it every other day when freshly relaxed and more when needed. Lovely product.

Had given up and accepted dry, brittle hair as just another 'old-age' problem. Had tried many, some very expensive products, on my dry, damaged hair.One simple application with the Organic Root Stimulator did the trick.....My hair hasn't looked this shiny and healthy in many years.

Great product! High points:- It makes my hair feel and look healthy- I like the way it smells- It applies easily- It's not greasyI'm an African-american male that recommends this product. May be important to note that I do not style my hair - I keep about a #1/2 length.

The reason that I ordered this product was because I had already purchased one at Walgreens a couple of months ago. The product is light and not greasy. Adds a nice sheen to my hair. Will reorder this product again.

I love this product. I've used it for several years and it is fantastic. it moisturizes and leave my hair very soft. It also has helped my split ends and has caused my hair to start back to growing.

This product is working well for me. My hair is extremely dry and brittle. After using this product now for several weeks my hair is now soft and easy to maintain without all the dryness.

This was a good purchase, makes my hair soft and manageable, nice smell and lasts about 2 days before I need to use it again. I would recommend this hair oil, happy with my purchase.

This product is exactly what was needed. It's light weight but has enough oil content that it is making a great difference with the softness and strength of my daughter's hair.

Perfect for non relaxed ir natural black hair. It softens them immediately the day after. The mint scent is a bit too stronh. They should put half of that scent.

Smell amazing and makes hair feel softer. Don't put too much as it is oil and will grease up your hair. This product should last a long time.
