Easy to install. ( I used a torque wrench to ensure nothing over-tightened) .Backsweep about 32-35 degrees way more comfortable than straight-bar elbows akimbo gorilla-style forced by straight and wide MTB bar I am replacing - my old straight MTB style bar made my hands numb and aching after just a few miles.Rise depends on the angle at which you install itMakes a massive difference to comfort of bike - even on short rides - I have it set to the grips are pretty much level which gives quite a rise and a more upright touring position - but equally you could set the angle so that there is a drop- will come back and add an extra star once I've done a long trip with no tingling/fingers and wrist

Ok so this is an early review and they might break tomorrow for all I know. That aside, these handlebars made a massive difference to the rideability of my MTB. Note they are 31.8mm (many are smaller) so check what size centre bar you need before buying. Riding position and comfort and so on are all very personal aspects so just because these fit me just so, doesn't mean they will suit you as well. But I'd probably start off trying these out and maybe others if this doesn't do it.

Have been using with a stem raiser as well on a mountain bike I use for commuting for the past few months. For me really improved the comfort of the ride, changing my position to near upright. No neck discomfort as can just look forward. I had to change my saddle due to the position change to get a wider and padded one. Also have to bear in mind your gear and brake cables might need replacing as they could be too short.

This handlebar sits back , has a rise and takes the pressure off your hands. This means you sit more upright on your bicycle and watch the world go by. It won’t make you a speed freak and you are advised to get a sprung saddle to take the edge off the bumps. Cost wise it is good. No it is not for rapid downhill, for that you need wider bars but then you won’t get the bike in your corridor.

I replaced the more straighter bars on my Merida E500 which on a long ride gave me aching hands and wrists, diagnosed as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Very comfortable more upright cycling position. Excellent.

With the standard handlebar on my Stevens e-bike, I got numbness in my hands after a short drive. After the conversion to this handlebar, the problem is solved. The handlebar makes a valuable impression.

Allows a very comfortable ride and upright biking position, It helps eliminate the strain on wrists and neck. My wife and I love them on our Specialized Cross-trail bikes.

With this handlebar I sit a bit more upright. This gives me a better overview. Handlebar feels good, solid material, fast delivery everything ok! recommended

It is a pity that it is not 4 cm longer, but it is not the fault of the steering wheel, but my dimensions. First class performance

More relaxed, more upright posture than with my original trekking handlebar. It is also relatively narrow and fits me well.

I finally found the ideal position ... after fitting a shoulder prosthesis. I recommend to increase driving comfort.

Good retro bars. Less back ache from a more upright riding position. Easy to fit and they look good too.
