Because of sealed bearings ... where the axle goes into the pedal body, there is a gap almost 2mm wide with a view of the balls !!! In addition, there are obviously not enough balls and the bearings are hopelessly overstretched! For me, this is a clear case of misleading on the part of fahrrad.de and reason enough to leave NC-17 in the future.

Maybe you can't expect that for the price, but that's what it says in the description! The balls are completely open and at least one is missing on one side, which leads to a non-circular run. CONCLUSION: at most hardware store quality.
