The main attraction for me of the Hubba NX was it's 1.1 kg weight, with my upcoming 14 day trek on the GR20 in corsica in mind. From past experience I want to keep my rucsac weight as low as possible, as on this trip in particular I will be carrying a lot of food and water. It took me a few trips to get used to my Hubba NX, and get the position right but now i'm familiarised it can be pitched easily in just under 3 minutes. The fly is good and waterproof, the groundsheet is wafer thin but tough, the toughest most lightweight material I have seen thus far. You can actually sit up in this tent which is nice on those occasions when your rained in, as you don't have to brew up or cook lying down. One possible negative for some people,be warned that even for a lightweight solo the interior is on the narrow side, about the width of my thermarest plus an inch. This is the trade off for having a taller tent that you can sit up in, and means your rucsac has to stay outside in the vestibule. However it would be petty to give it less than 5 stars because of this, after all it is a lightweight solo tent. All things considered it does it's job well and I heartily recommend it.

I used this tent on a 2 month cycle trip across the US and it was probably the best purchase I made from long a lot of kit. Some of the pros:- Very lightweight and packs down super small which means it fits in a pannier or backpack easily.- Quick to set-up once you get the hang of it.- Whilst snug inside you can sit up as it's relatively tall. And you get a nice bit of extra room with the porch.- As it's a dome tent it doesn't have to be pegged down, which is very handy if you're camping under a pavilion or just don't have the time / energy to peg it out properly (though wouldn't do that if it was windy).- Camouflaged colour is handy in case you need to 'stealth camp'.Remember where you put it up as it can be pretty hard to see!- Handy little vent on the opposite side of the porch (I didn't find until a few hundred miles into the trip).- Poles and pegs seem sturdy yet lightweight.Con- Only fault I could find was that it doesn't have a ground sheet for the porch area. But I just used a $1 cycle cover and stretched it over the area which did the job nicely.

A light, small and yet spacious tent. Set up very quickly and even be used as a standalone if necessary. Yes, the tent is more airy, but this is very good condensation avoided, in the tub but you are well protected and I find the tent itself very comfortable. Who wants it warmer, should rather buy the MSR Access (4 seasons), which is then more difficult. I prefer to dig into the tent and carry less load around with me. I have the green version, in the tent the light is a bit more subdued but not dark. I bought another footprint, the tub seemed a bit thin of the material (if you want less weight, you have to cut corners somewhere). But I am completely satisfied with the tent.

An absolutely great one man ultra-lightweight tent. Hugely versatile when combined with the footprint to offer spacious accommodation in hot weather or when used with the mesh inner in temperate locations. This is not a true 4 season tent as it would be too exposed for winter use. I recommend this tent to anyone with serious solo tenting aspirations. Go out and buy it.

Im looking for hunting bows for a youth centre here in Glasgow Scotland. We are asking for donations of hunting equipment, clothing tents survival equipment. The club is in its infancy so all equipment would be appreciated. No damaged kit please, just unloved unused kit.Send to 1/2 8 church street Glasgow G69 7NU. Thankyou.

The structure is self-explanatory and the weight is a big plus point. My first night I spent at 1900 meters in pouring rain and with a lot of wind - and stayed dry. The entry in the rain is a bit adventurous, but the awning is surprisingly large for the one. In addition, the tent height is comfortable. I would buy it again.

well made, easy to put up, stood up well in a thunderstorm. good sized porch and handy inside pockets for glasses etc...tent bag is very roomy and easy to put the tent back in, even when wet. There ARE lighter tents out there for backpacking but works well and compact for use when cycle camping.

Low pack, hardly weight, much height, self-standing tent. For people who want to carry little tent at the back, and with the site also with little space have to make, a good choice. Ample hallway is available. However for windy cool places rather unsuitable as a lot of gauze.

Excellent, super lightweight one person tent. I used one while hiking 1800 miles of the PCT in 2016. I've just bought another one for a long distance hike in the Balkans. Build quality is of a very high standard. It's Free standing too.

A great tent for the summer touring week in the mountains: light, stable and spacious! Sure, visually it is also nice :-)
