I was a little perplexed when I received this as it seemed to be missing a cover over the spine. However I took a moment to check the description and found that this must be what is described as the "external stitched binding" which it says "means the journal is durable for daily use, and can be opened perfectly flat." Not quite what I expected, as I had no idea what that description meant until now, but I am willing to give it a go.I have the olive green one, which is a good olive colour and the cover is not as shiny as some Moleskin I have had in the past.I chose the one with dots instead of lines, which is a new format for me. I has 6 sections; 5 'chapters', each one with a blue dividing page or spread,

I bought this on a whim when it was on sale for a very low price and I'm not entirely sure what to use it for. It may well be very good for organising ideas for projects but I'd have to find the right project.As always with Moleskine, good quality and fit for purpose.

Nicely made as expected from Moleskine. Very thin and soft bound. It is perfect to have in your purse or pocket for notes/lists on the go. Not sure if there is anyone else out there does that still using pen and paper rather than their smartphones.

This notebook was bought to use on a daily basis. It is a surprisingly robust little notebook. It has a strong front cover, and good quality paper. Its narrow enough that it will fit into my mobile phone bag with a pen.
