I have only used the spotting scope a couple of times. I also purchased the 30x ww eyepiece as the scope comes with no eyepiece. My initial impression is really positive. I have limited experience with spotting scopes but have owned a lower end Vortex and have been able to look through a few others that were owned by friends. This spotting scope is really bright, and clear, all the way to the edges. The color seems really natural and the image is great. The eyepiece I selected has good eye relief, and is really easy to look through. I am also considering buying the 20X-45X zoom eyepiece for times when higher magnification is required.
