The box contains 4 dustbags, 1 motor filter, 1 Super Air Clean filter (which I didn'tneed because there is a Hepa filter on our Cat & Dog cleaner).We have two Cat & Dog vacuum cleaners and over the years I have tried to takeshort cuts and buy cheaper (cheapo?) bags from a variety of sources. The last lotof bags weren't great (leaking around the neck), so I decided to take the plungeand buy the original (now improved) Miele bags from this supplier.Well, really, what an improvement. The vacuum is back to its original best, liftingfitted carpets on its fastest setting, and the turbo brush zooming around at topspeed.I expect some people will consider that I'm stating the obvious,

Forget the old paper bags that vacuum cleaners used to come with. Back in the days where you bought any old brand of bag and it was a dusty mess.These genuine Miele vacuum bags are a fleece-like material and they keep in ALL dust. The dust compartment remains spotless. They self close and have a silicone seal to ensure the dirt goes into the bag and not the inside of your machine casing, or back into your room when you are changing the bag. They can fill well and have an internal design that ensures they do not clog as quickly or easily.Each box of 4 bags comes with a new motor filter and a basic exhaust filter.Make sure you buy only GENUINE Miele bags and check around on price.

My dishwasher and washing machine at the time were this make and excellent work horses so after a few expensive years and two top of the range dysons and one unbelievably rubbish electrolux vacuum cleaners later I gave up and bought the miele cat and dog. This is without a doubt the greatest hoover ever made and I would strongly encourage everyone with or without pets to buy one. Sure the bags are a little bit more expensive but I believe I have saved about £500 by not having to buy three new hoovers over the same period then I totally made a very good investment. The bags are very, very good quality I've never had one burst or be faulty and I'm not even sure that I've fitted the filters

VERY good product and very expensive too. No leaking and cleaner than bagless ones especially good for asthma & allergy sufferers. Nails screws, glass, pins pine needles or thorns never seem to puncture this The bags do compress the yuk a LOT. If you have fine dust from wood fires clean it out with a fireplace shovel dustpan and only use this for the small residue because a LOT of very fine wood ash will clog the pores on anything. When others use it beware because if the dustbag has very damp dust from say cleaning a too wet bathroom carpet it will clog it up & if it is very wet it will break your cleaner. That was the last one though.

Machine seems to be very effective and reasonably easy to use. It extracted quite a bit of dogs hair from carpets despite fact have not had a dog in house for several weeks (my Wife sits dogs when friends etc go away). Wife mainly likes it because it is much lighter than our earier maching (which was very good and a Panasonic but un upright and heavy to do stairs, say). Have not tried out everything yet but it seems to be very efficient at what we have done so far. Have not had to use spare dustbags yet as only bought machine new at Same Time. It is also easier to put away in sownstairs cupboard than the heavy Panasonic.

I own a Miele and only change my bags maybe every four months. I am lucky enough to have a Dyson upstairs and a Miele downstairs.These bags never fail to impress. When full, the machine tells you this, its very easy and simple to remove this bag from the vacuum cleaner and discard. It is just as easy to replace. The great thing is that there is virtually no dust inside the cavity where the bag sits so you know that all the dust is trapped inside the bag.Compared to the Dyson where you have to empty the dust into a carrier bag and have the dust all over the room again, it is worth buying a box of bags once a year.

These are, it's true, an additional cost to owning a Miele, but it's just not worth buying the non branded bags in my experience. These are cheaper than on the high street and I buy them regularly. I must do a lot of hoovering as there is no way they last 6 months as per the product description, about a month is more realistic in my experience. The filter has to be cut to size and is a faff, but overall as I would expect from Miele (have owned a hepa vacuum for years and wouldn't go back to another brand) these are quality items, your Miele deserves nothing less.

Having purchased the cleaner on a friend's recommendation, after having problems with a Dyson upright, this cleaner is simply brilliant. However when it came to buying refills, I was shocked at the prices being charged on the high street for these bags. Imagine my joy when I found this supplier who was cheaper!Can recommend wholeheartly both this product and the supplier. The genuine product does the job better than the 'copies' I tried before. And the supplier was quick and efficient. 10 out of 10!

There is no substitute for these genuine bags. They may be relatively expensive but they are much better quality than the pattern substitutes and have a good capacity. No prizes though to Miele when they purported to make the bag filtration better with an improved design and reduced the content from 5 to 4!Much cheaper to buy on-line than retail.I ordered multiple packs off Amazon, supplied via Kenco, and they arrived in less than 48 hours, well and economically packaged. Top marks for service.

After Meile told me off for using generic vac bags when I sent my vacuum off to be serviced, I decided to try these posh bags! They are of course way more expensive however they are designed to go in our very expensive machine and the machine is brilliant! I have since purchased only these bags and you get 4 bags per box...so I guess they work out to be around a few quid a bag? I do like a well vacuumed house and these bags to the job so I will continue to buy. Great seller and very prompt.

If you are happy with the original bags then you won't be disappointed with these. They are solid and look like nothing can rip or break them, plus they seal once removed so no "dust cloud" or taping over as with some "compatibles".You can use replace the filter also although so far I did not bother.The price I feel is relatively high but having blown one cleaner when the bag ripped so far I'm not taking any chances. I am looking for high quality replacements though...

All the reviews I have read say buy the real thing, it's not worth getting a cheap copy. I didn't want to destroy my brand new Miele with poor quality bags and have been extremely pleased with the effectiveness of these bags. They last for ages so although a bit pricey, you don't change them as frequently. Love the fact too that they provide the filters so you remember to change them regularly. Will definitely be buying them again, delivered quickly and a good price!

Recently I bought some cheaper version dustbags on the internet. I thought my Miele S5000 vacuum was finished when it started making dreadful noises and wouldn't suck anything up. On opening it, I found that the dust and dirt which should have gone straight into the dustbag was all over the inside of the machine, and had completely clogged the new original HEPA filter thus wasting it. Verdict - stick to the original spares. Not worth mucking up your machine.

This is a bag and filter set for Miele vacuum cleaners. But then you knew that already. It's the genuine article and slots straight into the vacuum unit. Obviously. When it's full you simply yoink it out again and throw it away. Forgive me for trying to teach you to suck eggs, here. It does all of these things with the accomplished ease of a product that has clearly been made for the purpose. Because it was. Happy days.

The Miele 'Cat & Dog' vacuum cleaner is the best I've bought in 50 years of housekeeping both for effective strength of cleaning power and being so quiet in operation one can talk over it.The bags, of course, are the drawback because they are complicated and expensive. It's worth therefore looking around the suppliers to find a good deal on price and postage charges - there's plenty of choice and a wide range.
