I posted a query re the hepa rating - thanks to all for your answers. I also got a useful and honest answer from the Henry people (which just makes me like this company even more!) They say: "The HEPA flo bags are a brand name made of a blown polypropylene, manufactured for Numatic. This is only a brand name of the bag, they are not HEPA rated." The chart they enclosed showed that these bags have a 75% efficiency with 0.2 micron particles and 78% with 0.3 micron particles. By way of comparison, FFP2 (N95) masks would have 95% filtration score at 0.3 sized particles, 2 layer paper bags manage about 15% (oops) and true 'HEPA' rating demands stopping 99.95% of 0.3 size particles. Coronovirus is even smaller!- around 0.1 but usually bound to something bigger if the experts are correct. So, whilst not HEPA by themselves, the bags are really very good. Of course, as part of the whole vacuum cleaner, which hads additional filters beyond just the bag, the microtex filter HEPA Henrys are exactly as they say they are - HEPA compliant. Well done Henry - great product, great price, great service!

Eventually they are full of rubbish, but rubbish they are not.Like most people I have a supreme fondness for hoover bags and in particular Henry Hoover bags. Like most people I have a collection and I can remember where and when I bought my first ever Henry Hoover bag. I am not well into my dotage but the Henry Hoover bags are a constant and faithful companion. The best thing about these bags is that they rip easily when you realise you have hoovered up your jelly babies by mistake. Cut open the bag and then dive in ... the jelly babies are lying in a lovely next of grey fluff and you can find them easily. The bags fit snugly and they fit onto Henry very well too. There is a sign that says "this way up",I have no idea what happens if you put them in upside down: perhaps Henry blows instead of sucking. But they are good, they are sturdy and they fit nicely. For the price you would expect that.Buy original. Buy quality. Buy Henry.

I brought these for my nilfisk eco 300 commercial tub VAC which I'm using a henry adapter and I used these bags many times they are brilliant first they are very good at filtering out the fine dust out of the air good for allergy sufferers second they never loose suction as they fill up where paper bags do third they keep the filter clean for longer as all the dust particles are retained in the bag and not in the filter which is a bonus the dust retention is 99.97 % 3 stage filtration fourth u can pick up sharp objects like glass or nails which would destroy paper bags five they last ten times longer then paper bags had the same bag in my machine for nine months. And it still picks up well with no problems sixth it works well with pets hair filters out all the dander smells etc I would recommend these bags I find them well worth the money excellent if u own a henry hound or henry micro machines

My wife and I decided to buy online because of the difficulty in finding a seller on/ near Anglesey (had previously bought from Asda, but it no longer seems to stock them). She did eventually manage to buy X2 boxes of 5 bags for £9.99 from from a branch of an electrical outlet in Bangor whose name is also that of an Indian condiment. The bags she bought were the 'paper' type described by other reviewers and cost effectively £1 each. These are the type we are familiar with. The 40 bags (10 X4 boxes) that arrived from Amazon are much bigger, had plastic rather than cardboard attachment collars and are of a woven white fabric - they also worked out at c.65p each.We are glad we followed advice left by other reviewers to buy from Amazon to ensure that genuine Numatic bags were what we eventually received.

I used to use the Numatic paper bags, but these woven fabric bags are a significant step up, and so much better. They filter out a great deal more dust, meaning the air that comes out the back of my Henry is cleaner, and kinder to my lungs. I don't have to vacuum again so soon either. The addition of a plastic flap, to seal the shut after removal is brilliant.Another benefit of using these is that unlike paper sacks, it's impossible to accidentally rip them whilst removing a full one from the machine. I used to do that now and again and it drove me nuts with the mess and inconvenience.Fake versions of these are quite common unfortunately, and they don't have the same high level of performance.I purchased mine directly from Amazon and received genuine Numatic product as a result.

I have both a Henry and a Hetty in use in my house and use these bags instead of the paper bags in both. Henry, bless him has come with us through a few house renovations now, eating up rubble, plaster, nails and anything else we throw at him without a blockage or a grumble. Hetty is with us for the finer things in life, she only has to do normal housework but we do end up with extra dust with the work on the house continuingThese bags trap everything including the dust and they don't split when you fill them with rubble and nails. They also have a handy closer so when you take the bag off to throw away, you just close the hole so the dust doesn't fly everywhere. They are even pretty good with soot if you are sweeping a chimney. Try them instead of the paper ones, you won't go back

Turns out it was the same look he always has. I'm starting to think Henry might be a bit aloof or simple. Or just a vacuum cleaner.Anyhoo, bags are good, sturdy and don't shed much dust as they are a sturdy cloth HEPA filter material. Fit really easy onto the inner connection and remove the same. There is a plastic fold over fitting so when you remove the bag you can semi seal it to avoid spilling the contents in your house before reaching the wheelie bin outside.I say 'semi seal' as it will not prevent the contents coming out in a massive grey cloud if you fall down the stairs carrying a full bag and land on it like my wife did.Honestly, she looked like the genie appearing in an Aladdin pantomime.I laughed so hard I thought I had strained something.

A few months ago, we ran out of HepaFlo bags and ordered some that we thought were genuine from a supplier via Amazon. They turned up and they were simply paper bags, with a lot less air flow and much worse filtering. We went back to look at the item and the description had changed, but there were several bad reviews by people who had believed they had ordered real Numatic bags. These however are the real thing - and only £1 more than the clone bags! The filtering is better, the flow is better, they can be used for longer, the seal between the bag and pipe is better, they have the little sealing flap for when you remove the bag. Much much better for about 10p extra per bag! Go on,show your Henry some love.

To add to some of the other comments here - the bags were bought from the Amazon seller Discount Direct; these are the genuine Numatic Hepa-Flo bag (NVM-1CH) with the plastic cap that is used to seal the bag prior to disposal. When we first got our Henry vacuum we couldn't get the genuine dust bag locally and so, while waiting for the correct ones to arrive by post, we bought some Tesco own brand ones - big mistake. Like a lot of Tesco own brand made-in-China stuff they were rubbish. They hold less than the Numatic bag, are made of paper and don't have the sealing cap. Plus two of their 5 packs is only just slightly cheaper than these proper Numatic 10 pack bags.

I am really pleased with this product. My Hetty came with 5 of these bags and I was amazed at how well they work. I use Henrys at several of my jobs and although the bags are OK, they are dusty and I find I change them well before they need to be, because of the smell, the dust and the lack of suction. I was so pleased with these bags, they last longer, there's no dust when you empty the hoover and the smell is non existant - I say this as the owner of 4 cats and a house rabbit! I bought this product when I used up my free bags and have bought them for work aswell. They are very good value and do a very good job! I'll definately be buying them again.

Having said great product at a great price, there's not a lot more to add. The bags are really big, and strong enough to hold the weight of the large amount of dust/dirt it can hold. The price is excellent. They are identical to the 3 free ones that came with the new Henry and they last ages 'cos there are so big. I had to compromise on a smaller, lighter, generic and more expensive bag until I saw these ones. I have a dirty house with 2 long-haired indoor dogs, and with the cheapie small ones had to change the bag every 2-3 weeks. These last so long it's like having a bagless machine. Highly recommended to all Henry owners.

I love my Dyson - but not the right tool for shifting huge piles of DIY induced carnage from my house (filters block and then have to be dried overnight). My Numatic Henry is my tank at shifting 'debris' and these hepa bags at 50p each are an absolute steal. You fill one, chuck it in the bin and stick another one in (and repeat until carnage has subsided). Design of them is also pretty pleasing, with the little plastic lug you can snap over to seal the entry hole to avoid dust leakage. At this price they're an utter steal. Pack of ten for a fiver? I'm sure how anybody is making money on them.

Good value compared to other vendors. I contacted Numatic who confirmed there was no glass fibre in the material. I used them as filters or as the actual material for face masks. They're not the easiest to breathe through, so would need a good seal around the face to make sure you had no leaks. But I've washed them a few times and the fabric holds up well. You can melt the edges to stop fraying on a low iron setting, but that takes some practice. Easy to stitch through. If you hem and stitch them I doubt you'll need to melt the edges. An even lower setting allows you to iron in creases.

I run a small contract cleaning business and have Henry's at most places we contract to. I used to buy the paper dust bags which were fine but these are far superior and in most cases cost less. The tough material is woven in such a way that air passes through very easily allowing maximum suction without dust particles getting through. The bags have the same capacity as the paper type but are more flexible so actually hold more and are easier to fit to the unit due to the plastic collar compared to cardboard collar on paper version. This product wins hands down on every aspect.

Did wonder at such a low price if they were going to be the real thing, they are. 10 in a box so on offer a really cheap price for them £5 somethingOrdered these on offer and when they arrived noticed straight away that they were the genuine bags for my Henry, in the genuine box and bags themselves. Easy to fit and take out when full.Use these along with a fabric bag at times and to be honest these paper ones they do not tear, rip or fail. Even better at such a low price work out about same price as budget version ones but without any rips and last a while.
