Excellent bandsaw, very smooth running, quiet and when set up, which took about twenty minutes, very accurate. Very sturdy build quality and heavy and solid for it's size and price. I would not hesitate to recommend the BAS261 to anyone looking for a good quality small bandsaw at a very good price. Delivery from FFX was spot on also...... I have used this quite a lot over the last few weeks and I could not be happier with it, I have changed the blade for a 1/2 in 6 TPI and the results are outstanding. Absolutely brilliant machine.

Started off being annoyed as would not cut thru 50mm wood. But after a little investigation found that the motor drove a rubber belt attached to bottom wheel. This was loose, a little adjustment to the motor solved the problem. Good so far.

So far so good. Seems very good Quality and does what they say it can do. I suggest buying a finer blade though as the blade that comes with it can give a bit of a rough cut. All in all very pleased.

used it for a while now and it is great, had hiccup at start Folkestone fixings were great helped me out straight away, great company with great backup, I would defiantly use them again.

Well built machine however I have only used it a couple of times. Nice cross cutting on small dimension work.With a different blade it will probably give good results for rip sawing.

Got this today had set up a running in no time at all, it’s first job was cutting 38mm thick oak at a 45 degree angle which it cut with ease. Very happy with this ?

I've only just had time for a trial cut but am very pleased so far. Very robust machine. Glad I paid a bit more than cheaper machines.

This is exactly what I wanted. A good quality, affordable band saw. It is working well at the moment & provides an accurate cut.
