I think that this is a cracking travel bag being both lightweight and pretty robust. It is designed for weekends away, or as I use it, on a 9 hole course where the longest hole is just about 400 metres: rather than having to fold down the seats in my car to get my trolley in and bag, this bag with a half set of clubs is ideal for use in this scenario and just big enough to also accommodate an extra 5 wood and an additional longer iron too; i could fit in more if I needed to. So ideal for a short local course, travelling and absolutely perfect for visiting the rangeThere are two storage pockets (one of which is divided) and a mesh pocket; which I use to carry a couple of spare balls, a tee holder, which I have never used and a nice strap. Unloaded the whole thing weighs less than 4lbs and even with my clubs, it isn't that heavy. All in all, a great little bag. Ayy drawbacks? Well it doesn't have a stand, but bearing in mind that weight and size are the reason for purchasing this type of bag, I personally feel it is worth the sacrifice, or the alternative, I would borrow/rent a trolley at a course I was visiting.Ideal then for those starting off in golf, or for those of us who wish to travel further afield; without carrying a whole host of clubs, most of which I can get by without.

Bought this for my wife and she's delighted with it. Intended use is to carry 5-6 clubs to the driving range. The images on the product page (amazon.co.uk) are a bit misleading: I got what I hoped to, which was the bag with shoulder strap; some pics show bag with just a grab handle. The shoulder strap can be removed but fixing points remain prominent. The bag is semi-rigid, with a hard plastic base. Along one side are two zip pockets (metallic grey) that will hold a few balls each (or whatever) and a tiny elasticated mesh pocket that would just about hold a glove, or a few tees. A D-ring to hang a towel/ident etc might have been nice. There's no stand, so has to be laid on the ground when not in hand.Shoulder strap is adjustable & well padded and the empty bag is not heavy. The divider in the opening of the bag is just a padded plastic rod.Materials and finish are what you'd expect at this price. Stitching isn't refined but looks robust. It does the job.PS - the removable rain cover is already discarded, as I expect many will be - shame for the manufacturer, coz now the bag is unbranded!

I recently bought this bag for a weekend in France, my bag is too big and takes up alot of room. When i found this on Amazon i thought to myself 'thats the kind of bag im looking for', and bought it. It arrived in 3 days, which was good because i was off to France the following day!The bag is nice and light, with good space to put the clubs that you need for a game of golf. Also there is a good ammount of space for all the accessories that you need e.g tees, balls ect. The club cover is useful as well. When i was on the 15 hole, it started raining and the clubs were nice and dry because of the undetatchible cover.Overall its a great bag, tonnes of useful space and at a great price. It might not suit everybody but it definatly suited me! And if you are planning on going for a weekends worth of golf, you owe it to yourself to get this bag.

Just received this from seller, a day in advance of the estimate. I'm new to golf, having taken the game up in the summer after inheriting two sets of clubs (including bags). However, both bags are just a tad too big to carry on a weekend away next week. I was advised to get a pencil bag and not carry so many clubs. This bag is the one that suits my budget. First impressions are that it will suffice for those times I need to travel light, with plenty of pockets for all the extras (tees, balls etc). It doesn't look particularly robust, but it is designed for weight saving so I suppose that outweighs the negatives.

Nice bag, just the right size for taking a few clubs to the driving range, with a couple of useful pockets for extra items. Has a strangely high quality padded rain hood which seems almost too good for the bag, but which provides good protection for the clubs and the car boot. Light, easy to carry, and cheaper than anything else on the market that I could find. I like that it stands upright on its base (on a flat surface) just like the bigger bags do so you dont have to lay it on the floor or lean it against something.

Was looking for a cheap slim range bag with a head cover for ages before stumbling across this. Absolutely perfect for the range, but will also (just about) take a full set of clubs if you're travelling or haven't got space in the car for a carry/cart bag. There are two small zipped pockets and one mesh pocket. Shoulder strap, carry handle, two way divider in the top. Lovely stuff.

Wasn't sure from description if it was a 'hard' bag or foldable as we wanted to take it away on holiday inside a soft case. It is not foldable but we were able to take it as the soft case was long, and it was perfect for use on the 3 par course. Saved us the £30 each way that the airline was charging for golf bags!!!!

Thank you for delivering my golf bag so quick, ordered last Thursday it here Saturday morning, i was able to take and use it on Monday 1st Dec, as owing to the recent wet weather Trolleys have been banned on our golf course till conditions have improved,Thank you , a great help! Just the Job.

I took this on a long haul flight due to limited space being available in my luggage and easily managed to take 7 clubs plus plenty of golf balls, tees etc.Only drawback is that there is no easy way to make the bag stand on its own when on the golf course, so not great if it is wet.

Suited my needs perfectly! Light-weight, easy to use and (just about) carries everything you need. I ended up swapping the strap out for a proper two shoulder version which fitted without issue. I must admit, i'm now using this over my normal sized stand bag! Good value as well.

got this to have a small bag because of limited storage space at home and to have something very light to carry around the golf course. It ticks both these boxes. And is very durable and spacious enough for my needs. Highly recommend

This is exactly what I wanted. It is very lightweight but sturdy and suitable for holding a small selection of clubs when I don't need to have my full complement. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a bag to hold approx 5 clubs

This is a great golf bag if you are only playing 9 holes. Although small this bag can fit a good 10 clubs. Very Sleek in design with looks of side pockets for tees, balls etc. Very quick delivery, very happy.

Perfect for taking 7-8 clubs by plane. Fits inside outer golf bag together with another bag to halve cost of taking clubs abroad.Option of stand probably worth taking to save bending all the time.
