My daughters 1st birthday present and she absolutely loves this. Even though she wasn't great at riding it initially, the pirates that come with it, and the noises, kept her endlessly entertained. Pirate Pete and Pirate Bob are clearly her 'friends'. The seat lifts up and down, so great for putting things in and taking things out - endless fun it seems, and the flag at the end comes off - another great game. Highly recommended.Edit: both of my children, and every other child coming through our door, have adored this toy. It's been used more than almost any other and lasted brilliantly. Sadly it met its demise when a gaggle of seven year olds had at it - despite my best attempts I couldn't fix the mast,

I bought this for my son as one of his first birthday presents and he absolutely loves it. He isn't quite steady enough on his feet yet to ride it, but love playing with the figures that are also supplied and opening and closing the ship's 'hold'. My friend's son, who is nearing 2, had a ride on it and had a wail of a time. The toy itself is excellent quality and has nice features that young children will find interesting, so represents excellent value for money. Given my son's 'bashing things together is fun' approach to playing I was a little concerned about how long it would last but, like an aging porn star, this can certainly take a pounding and stay functional.Highly recommended

My 11 month old nephew fell in love with this the moment he set eyes on it. Very sturdy and well built. Cleverly designed for it not to tip too far forward. Great sound effects which aren't too loud. Easy to build from the box in under 10 mins. Nice chunky soft figures. Plenty of room on seating area for this toy to grow with your young one. One minor complaint the button to trigger the sounds is too difficult for my nephew to press however I am sure that down to development and he will soon get the hang of it. Thanks to the third party Amazon Buzz app I got this ride on and storage toy for an amazing £11 I would happily pay over double for this great toy.

I baught this for my one year old grandson and he loves it. He plays with all aspects of the toy and so does his older brother. There is some building to do when it arrives and stickers to put on which I hate having to do when purchasing toys. You only get the one chance to get the stickers on correctly. But once ready to sail round the living room the children are delighted. The box it came in wasn't more interesting on this occassion, so full marks and highly reccomended for budding little pirates!!

Got it for my grandsons 1st birthday, he cant get on on his own or touch the floor but he loves to be wheeled around, be warned though they do stand on it! does nothing for your nerves!Update - be careful with one year olds, the seat does not stay open and he trapped his left finger in the lid and was pushing on the lid with his right hand. He does not have enough awareness to protect himself . We have had to duck tape the lid down until he is older.

Very good build quality by comparison to some small children's ride on toys.The plastics used feel more substantial, with a bit of weight to them, a bit like how toys used to be, instead of cheaper plasticsIt was straight forward to put together, in all taking around 10 minutes, with a little extra to apply a dozen stickersComes with figures and a cannon, so can be used as an activity play toy as well as ride on

My grandson had this when he was six months old so it will last and be used in different ways. At first he enjoyed sitting by it and just opening and shutting the lid. Then he enjoyed hiding things inside and finding them. At eleven months he is pulling himself up in it and it seems firmer than other similar toys. His older sister uses if with imaginative play so I think it will still be in use for years!

Just what any little one year old wants!! I wanted to make sure that he had his own "boyish" toy for his 1st birthday. He particular liked the little figures and cannon that came with it - easy to hide underneath the seat - and the flag at the stern of the ride-along toy that was more often in his mouth than on the boat!! Thank you for this colourful, well built and sturdy present.

Awesome toy for little boy. My son is 9 months old and just standing. He’s notable to get on the ship himself yet but is very happy crawling and playing with it or standing up holding the handles. The colours are bright, build quality v good and it seems incredible value for money. If it lasts as well as other Little Tykes toys it’ll bewitch us a very longtime.

My son is absolutely in love with this pirate ship, he loves to sit on board and get pushed around but his favourite is just to push along side it as he's learning to walk! Absolutely fantastic and the little noises it makes he adores. The figurines are lovely and chunky and no small parts so easy to grab and play with, best buy for my son so far!

this was a birthday present for my grandson who has just started standing and walking with support. This pirate ship has been brilliant for him, he climbs on to it and walks along holding on to it. He loves the figures that came with it and spends a lot of time loading them into the ship and removing them again! All in all a very good buy.

Absolutely love this purchase, as soon as I saw it I fell in love. better than any little bathtime boat. my son loves storing treasures in the seat and zooming round the garden. brilliant sound effects and so much fun. Sturdy boat perfect for boisterous boy. Great value for money. Boat is bigger than as pictured.

I ordered this toy from Amazon Warehouse Deals and it cost a little over £6.00, so i did not expect much. The item arrived on time and I was very pleased to see that it was like brand new. It was easy to put together and my son is very happy with his Pirate Ship!!! Thanks Amazon this was a GREAT deal!!!!!!!

Bought this for my 13 month old grandson at Christmas. No problems putting it together but you will need a rather small screwdriver to get in the battery compartment ( a Christmas cracker provided us with the required item). My 3 year old grandson also loves this. Very well made and great value for money!

this boat is excellent for the little ones who like ride on. my son is 2and a half he has a small ride on car but he looked far too big on bought this for xmas and its a really good size and great for the money i would recommend this ride on to anyone my boy loves it and its really strong and a good size.
