I bought this for my wife after she decided to wash her pristine iPhone 5S 64Gb Gold in the toilet after having piled half a bottle of bleach in the loo. Apple replaced her phone for £209 which is their standard re-furb price for non-warranty iPhone claims. I thought I was punishing my wife by buying this case for her, but she loves it.It's very well made, though I'm not quite sure about the press fit rear panel. Basically, you load the iPhone into the front part of the case (the case is split into 2 parts) after unscrewing the headphone jack protector. When you rescrew the protector into the front casing it locates the phone securely. Then it's just a matter of press fitting the rear. The two part casing is lined with silicone seals around the edges and there's a "trap" door that swings over the lightning connector port from the rear casing. This port cover seals and secures the case. The speaker ports are sealed, but due to the tunnel effect, the volume seems to be louder. The worry for me is when you want to remove the phone from the case. You insert the edge of a penny into the front corner and this frees that corner and a little of the edge. Then you are expected to pull the two casings apart. Though it's not that simple. It feels like the rear casing is not going to last being removed probably more than 5 goes. I had to reopen the case to insert a new sim, and I genuinely thought the rear casing would snap. It bends upwards when removing and stays bent. However, when you re-close the case and push the rear casing onto the front, it straightens out. The front casing is open to allow the original iPhone screen to be used, though they do supply a screen protector to cover your screen. This is a bit too small and is applied after putting the phone into the case. The screen protector is the only part which seems a bit crap. It was so crap I didn't fit it on the screen.Water ingress around the screen is prevented by a tight silicone seal. Using the screen normally is the best solution, since anything else will never feel as nice or be as responsive. The case looks substantial, it's not pretty, but it's very effective. It doesn't add too much bulk, probably about 5mm in each dimension. The switches are pleasingly responsive and the case feels robust and waterproof.A nice touch is a waterproof jack plug adaptor. The waterproof headphone adaptor is pushed in and then screwed into the case and then you put your headphone jack into the adaptor. This allows completely waterproof listening, providing your headphones are waterproof.Overall, if you are clumsy, accident prone or working in a dusty, wet or sandy environment, this is the case to buy. It's neater than an Otterbox case and very well thought out. Apple sell this case for £80 and the cheapest I could find elsewhere was £64. So this is a bargain! Buy it, or be ready to fork out when you drop your phone down the bog! (Don't try lying to Apple, there are 4 water sensors inside the case and one in the headphone jack!)

I managed to drop my iPhone 6S and cracked the bottom corner of the screen so I wanted a case that would hide the crack until I get round to giving Apple another £100 for a replacement screen. Or not.I also decided that I am too ham fisted to have a minimal case and wanted something that protected the phone from drops. I am not too worried about it being waterproof but this case is so that is a bonus. The Nuud is a well made and good looking case. I'm not too sure about the see-through back panel. I might have preferred a cut out to show off the Apple logo on its own but that is just being picky. It does add some bulk to the iPhone but that is inevitable for the level of protection. It isn't massive or heavy by any stretch of the imagination. It is good being able to use a standard lightning cable - some tough cases force you to use a micro USB. Some reviewers complain that the port is small but I have no problem with a genuine Apple and an Amazon basics cable. The screw in headphone adapter is a bit of a faff but I don't use headphones much so I don't care. I tend to use a Bluetooth speaker. All the phone functions work well - touch ID etc.Really the only issue is the price. It is VERY expensive for what it is and it does not look like a 'premium' case. Hence it dropped a star.

After waiting for months for a 6S version and after using cheap covers while waiting, I finally got hold of one. I have had the 5S cover before and have been a faithful follower of Lifeproof since then and this did not disappoint me in the slightest. I noticed that it has a better look compared to the iPhone 6 and it fits really well. Even thought its made my phone wider than before, it remains the slimmest versatile case I've ever had on 6s. I haven't test dropped it or water tested it but I am now confident on what will happen to my iPhone 6s should it drops or slips off my hand or accidentally get it wet.My only snag is that how long it took to get one specially made for the iPhone 6s since the iPhone 6 is a different size. Also it says that it might take 2-4 weeks to arrive after I have paid an extra amount for postage and packaging to get it to arrive sooner than I expected. It did arrive a lot earlier and was notified to my surprise. When you lay it flat on its back it wobbles due to the camera lens protecting it, it can be annoying but its as stable as i feel it is.Overall I would definitely recommend it even thought I just received it.

I had wanted to buy one of these for my iPhone 4, but the price and the reviews put me off a bit. However when upgrading to a 5S, I felt the cost of the phone was such that I really should give it a shot.On getting it out of the box, my first impressions were that it is flimsy and plasticky, not at all robust like the "survivor" cases. But once the phone is in the case, the feel is much improved.First thing you are told to do is assemble the case (snap the to halves together) and submerge it for an hour (without phone in!) to confirm it's waterproofing, which I dutifully did - no problems, not even a hint of water inside.putting the phone in is a simple matter of snapping the two halves aroundit.Reviews I had read about the 4 case said the sound is muffled and rubbish inside the case - I have no such issues, sound is fine and there is no discernible drop in volume or quality.Only thing is that the fingerprint recognition is of course useless with the case in a cover, so if this is something you can't do without, then you need to not use a case at all!

Really like this case. I haven't used it in the water as I would not want to risk damaging my iPhone when you can buy lots of cheap underwater cameras. It is however splash proof which is really handy in the rain/bath. If you did want to use it under water there is a plastic demo that you can test the case with which is a nice touch. I have dropped my phone a few times and it seems to have protected it well. Also looks nice not too clumpy for a case that offers such good protection. A bit of a faf to take off so wouldn't recommend if you want to take off regularly. Stays relatively clean considering I bought a light colour (Aqua). It comes with a screen protector which is optional. The only complaint that I have is that the loudspeaker microphone isn't very good when the case is in situ. This doesn't particularly bother me as I use headphones when on long calls. Also it's a small sacrifice to pay for not smashing my phone (AGAIN). Would recommend! :)

This Nuud it the best of the Lifeproof iPhone 6s options in my opinion, I had previously bought the Fre but it annoyed me as the cover had a rainbow effect on the screen; not with this one you touch the screen giving you full Apple pleasure with your device. It's had stuff spilt on it and I've dropped it and so far it's done the job perfectly & I expect it will continue to do so.The only negatives I find are that the charger flap is stiff to open (guess it keeps the water out) and sound isn't great, sometimes people who are on hands free when I'm speaking to them on the phone (not hands free/headphones, just as you use a phone) have said I sound muffled)and if you play music on your phone using the phones speaker that's not as clear and the sound seems to come out the back of the phone. It's a small price to pay to protect my expensive iPhone and I love the colour and the fact it's not too bulky.

I love this case. It's actually quite neat and compact considering its waterproof and can be dropped from 2metres. Although I haven't yet dropped it, it's only a matter of time and I have tested it, as suggested, by submerging with a dummy insert for 30 mins and it's 100% waterproof.I am not generally clumsy or accident prone but for some reason my phone and I have history and Imhave to admit that I need more than your average phone protection.!! Having dropped my last iPhone down the loo and dropped it endless times on a hard surface I decided my new phone deserved a foolproof case. I really think I have found one and it's neat and sophisticated grey and white appearance is a bonus.I absolutelylove this case.

I've spent everyday of my holiday in the pool with this case on my iPhone 7 plus. It's bone dry inside. The camera quality is exactly the same as with no case. It's a little big but it's not hard to get in and out of any pocket.I haven't dropped it yet but I have the same case on my iPad Prou dropped that off a stepladder onto a concrete floor at work with no damage. The case isn't even damaged!Would recommend these cases to anybody.

The case came in perfect condition except for a small tear in the rubber by the charger port. This didn't bother me enough to to make a fuss and return it etc as I did the waterproof test with the case and it was fine, still no water got in! However, not more rubber is just flaking away from around the charger port and I'm scared that it'll affect the waterproof feature.. Other than this, fab case!

Brilliant case, wirth the money. Touch id works everytime for me. Headphone adapter is still compatible with the inline controls, just make sure you screw it in far enough. The only thing i dont like is the head phone screw hangs out when headphones are in.I like the lack of integrated screen protector as you can replace your own when the get damaged.

A good case, but removal is very impractical. So far I've used the case on one week of sailing in the Adriatic Sea, and the protection was perfect. When at home, removing the case from the phone proved to be difficult, and frankly I was afraid of breaking it. The result was a bent cover, but seems that there is no damage.

Bought this for my 13 year old daughter to protect her phone. It was a bit tricky to put together but managed it and don’t think it is too bulky. She has had the phone for 6 months and it has protected it really well. Nice colour a little bit plasticy but it does its job well.

I will never not buy a lifeproof for my iPhone. I've gotten one for every one I've owned since the 5. I've gotten all the iPhones since the 5.It's waterproof. And tough. I'm really clumsy and none have ever broken on me!Love love love.

I'm horrible with my phone! Just had a moving day and I put my phone case through all sorts of drops :s. And is still in perfect working condition! Haven't tested out the waterproof feature. But I'm sure that's fine as well!

Unfortunately I bought the wrong size (I have an iPhone 6 and bought case for 6 plus), but the product seems to be great quality - so much so, that I've returned the "wrong" ine and I'm buying one in the right size.
