I'm fairly new to riding bikes: I didn't have one as a kid. So even though bicycles are 'simple' and inflating tires is 'super simple' I struggled with inflating tires myself. Whatever person I asked, YouTube video I watched it nearly always started with some version of 'so simple la la la presta/schrader psi boom done!' To the point where I think I would even pay money to watch a video where someone would just explain bicycle things like they would to a child space alien in a kind and gentle way.The guys at the shop were always nice but they always talk super fast (they are always so busy) and I'd just nod along hoping that I did pick up the details I needed and I just haven't.I looked for books that were the right level of depth.I looked for more videos, pamphlets...I struggled to understand what kind of valve I had. Even if I asked somehow in a week the name would escape me and my post-it with the information would be lost.Worst of all- I was constantly defeated by an expensive 'professional' bicycle pump that the salesperson had talked me into. Even reviews online said it was a great pump. For years I tortured myself with this pump - I broke valves about once every 5 times -even though I'd watch a video before, think I have the process down and just...ruin tire after tire until I stopped trying. I'd just go the entire summer until my tires would get so deflated I'd stop riding until I would take the bike for a tune up the next year.I was drawn by this pump because it screws in rather than having that lever that is supposed to create the seal with the tire. I was hoping I'd have an easier time with this mechanism. When the pump arrived, the tag had very simple instructions and I googled the bike pump and how to use it and there was a video that went through how to use it (albeit at the usual too fast, too much assumed knowledge pace). But I took some notes and went to try to inflate my tires.And... I finally did it! After 5 years of trying to inflate my tires and feeling frustrated and embarrassed- I did it! And it was straightforward to do and I felt like I had a good idea of whether or not my seal was successful and detaching it didn't feel like I had to be some sort of magical speed ninja - I could take my time and feel like I did it right and not break the valve. Also pump the tire was smooth and easy. My old pump required a certain speed and force that would always feel like an intense work out. This was so much easier.I wish I had known about this pump sooner and that part of the problem was that I didn't have the right pump for me and my skill level. Now I'm really excited to be able to keep my bicycle tire pressure right and have great rides all summer! Thanks Lezyne for such a great product and the informative video!

This is a very high quality and durable pump. The inflation hose is the longest I've seen on a floor pump and allows inflation with bikes still mounted to my tow hitch rack. People seem to dislike that you have to thread the pump head on every time you use it, but I purchased this pump specifically for that feature. All of the clamp on style pumps I have tried put a lot of lateral force on the valve stem when you clamp them down, and usually take two hands to pry the head off after inflation. I have broken a few valve stems off because of this. This pump's head can be threaded on and removed with one hand and does not put any unnecessary force on the valve stem or core.It will not unthread the core as long as it is properly tightened. Even if it does, there is a presta valve tool built into the opposite end of the head. People have complained that it takes longer to thread the head on every time, but it's only a few seconds difference and only needs to be turned a few times before the gasket seals. Once screwed down it's very secure and will not leak at all.I am disappointed that the pressure relief valve does not release pressure from the tire on presta valves. It only releases the pressure from the pump line to make it easier to unscrew. This is because there is no nub in the Presta side of the pump nozzle to press down on the valve stem. This also means that the pump's pressure gauge will not accurately read tire pressure until the pressure in the pump exceeds the pressure in the tire. If you add too much air, the only way to release it is to remove the pump and manually press down the valve core. There is a nub in the schrader valve end though, so it does release air from the tire, but also leaks a bit as you unscrew it. I wish there was a removable insert that would press down Presta valves, or that pressing the pressure release would press down on the valve.Overall I am happy with this purchase, as I mainly keep the pump in my SUV and only use it to air up if I forget to use my compressor at home, or if I am doing a multi day trip away from home. I even used it to to air up the tires on a friends ATV. It is definitely a solid piece of equipment made mostly of metal and seems like it will last for a long time.

I borrowed a Lezyne bicycle pump from a friend to see if it would work on my motorhome tires. I was amazed at how well the Lezyne pump worked so I ordered one. It is so easy to pump, the valve screws on with practically zero air loss, the gauge seems very accurate, and the hose is long enough for tall tires.I was skeptical a bicycle pump would work on the motorhome which takes 80psi. I'd used a cheap bicycle pump for years on my cars and motorcycles but it would wear me out just adding a few pounds. Plus, the valve was difficult to attach or remove without considerable air loss and the built-in gauge was useless. No more cheap bicycle pumps for me.The Lezyne pump has made me a very happy camper!

Having only had this pump for a month, I've only used it twice. I will update after further use, but so far so great. It feels so solid, which was a priority for me. The gauge dial is huge, easy to read, and, best of all, accurate. The chuck is an amazing design for a few reasons, but I love being able to easily thread it on and off, with the addition of the pressure release button to close the valve. Highly recommend. So far, it seems easily worth the extra money.(My pump is makes a sort of squeak at full compression. Minor irritation, but we'll see if it goes away or gets worse.)

Works quite well, I like the long hose. The pump construction is quite sturdy. The thread-ability of the nozzle to the valve on the tube is probably my favorite part. However, it's also my one complaint: when unscrewing the nozzle from the valve on the tube, the finite speed of the unscrewing process means a certain amount of air escapes. For a fill pressure of 100 psi, I've found I lose about ~5 psi when unscrewing the nozzle. All in all, not a bad downside, just something to be aware of.

Solid product but the ABS1 pro chuck is problematic with some presta tubes valves. The tube valve get stuck in the chuck when trying to remove it after pumping, so you need to unscrew it entirely and lose all pressure from the tube. Didn't except that from a high price pump

Nice big gauge makes it easy to read. I found it to be about 5psi off consistently. Not a big deal, I just pump my tires up 5 over what I am targeting. Only takes about 12 strokes to get my 27.5x2.5 mtb tires up 15+ psi, so fairly quick.

Exactly what I needed. Seems like it will last a long time and I especially like the chuck. The wooden handle is a nice touch and the gauge is on point. I also have a lezyne hand pump that woorks well and had lasted several years.

best bike pump I ever owned, high quality, screw on connection is much more reliable than the quick release type pumps, love that I can easily release some air if I over filled, smooth pump mechanics, big easy to read gauge

Arrived promptly. Works well without a lot of learning-to-use time. I inflated the tires of my bike so quickly I asked to do 3 more bikes from others. It was fun and I recommend it. No struggle at all!

Years ago I found that most ‘fit presto/schrader’fittings are not reliable. I tried Lezyne and never looked back. You get used to their pumps and it becomes second nature. Always works.

Great pump. Really strong and feels good quality. Very accurate.Four stars because the head is annoying, very annoying.I swapped my head for a Silca. Perfect pump now

This tire pump is sturdy and just what I needed. The thread on connection for the schrader valve is great plus a tire pressure gauge built in.Thank you.

Not cheap, but this feels like a quality piece of kit. I love the valve attachment. Pressure gauge seems accurate & is certainly easy to read.
