I purchased this and an Abus lock. The Abus mini lock is a higher standard but this lock has a better and easier to user brackets for securing to the bike. I didn't think I had to analyse the bracket but the Abus was quite fiddly to attach, i.e. unlock, line up, lock it in position. This lock however is locked up then simply slotted in place with a nice click.

If you dont want to spend too much then this is the middle ground. It has to locking tabs which is better.
