pretty decent ram at a good price this .in my repairs or builds i do for friends and relatives .i see price is the issue . now this ram does the job then some .so if your a gamer no worries it will do just fine as your pc aint top of the line if you are buying this ram anywayso to the results .. open performance good applications good .rating 4 out of 5 or 8 out of ten for this type of ram only specifies certain types of motherboard and their capabilities anyway so dont worry .gaming 1600 is the sweet spot thats a fact so get used to it i ve done the days and days of research to prove it .this ram transfers files slightly quicker over the 1600 mhz so that is a bonus but cas latency is cancelledout at some point .but the differences are not worth bothering about so either 1600 1866mhz for your budget gaming rig . or if your transfering files ,lots of files go up to 2400 if your motherboard supports it so check before you buy . what ?check your motherboard manual and the DIMM SLOTS mhz your board supports ok ...other than that make sure it is compatible by the pin count being 240 gold pins ( yes i counted them all)do not have a manual google it mate .do not be lazy, but be sure matesopen the side panel and look for details written on the board then google it .but it should be in the manual provided with your computer motherboard.it's in the flat box mate .anyway do the work enjoy the ram and live stress free people .hope ive helped you guys somewhat .i've seen kids build pc's ! so get on it mates .its going cheap its all i use in the last 20 AMD pc builds what more do you need ?oh yes it does the other boards too you just need to get up and check it out .pin numbers 240 (that's the gold looking tabs on the edge )mhz 1866 but dont worry if your boards lower it will sale down to the lowest installed ram you have like say 1333mhz .so the pc runs smoothly . simple it does it itself with any modern motherboard .not sure how to bump it up again ? watch a video on bios .compatability ? check your motherboard maker brand i.e. asus ,gigabyte ,asrock etc etc . then the model .go on the internet and see if it is compatible and if it is buy it mates its going cheap right now so buy a few if you want , no one cares but you anyway .so g,day and g, luck ya drongos . just kidding. ye gaming mongrels .

I purchased a pair of 8GB modules to go into a console replacement PC with a white and black theme. Initially going to be a Red and Black theme I initally brought the Kingston Savage sticks. However after changing to a white and black theme and the Savage sticks leaving a good impression I did not hesitate to pick up the Fury sticks.Much like the savage sticks while you won’t be holding them long, they have a lovely and serious heft to them. Solidly constructed and a nice texture which means they don't quite feel metallic as the savage sticks but nice none the less. Of course I am sure like many aesthetics play a role in picking these and to their credit Kingston have done a lovely job.The white sticks are very clean and sleek looking with simply black text saying Fury and a silver / metallic like effect on the Hyper X logo logo.Packaging is a simple affair with both modules coming in a simple plastic shell, with a small brown warranty book and kingston sticker. In the PC mine automatically detected the sticks ran at 1866 Mhz out the box and set it as such without going into the BIOS. I confirmed the sticks do however set up a X.M.P profile in the BIOS (at least for me on the maximum impact) they did which means in the event you do not get 1866 Mhz, it's a simple and painless process to get them to run at said specs. In reality however outside of synthetic benchmarks and few very select applications, you will not see a difference. Finally although these are not specific low profile sticks, I have checked and confirmed they fit under my Noctua NH-DH15 and Dark Rock Pro 3 no issue and imagine they would be fine with plenty of others with little to no issue. In all a lovely pair of aesthetically pleasing stick for a good price. Can’t complain.

I use an Asus Sabertooth 990fx R2.0 motherboard and this RAM went into the slots incredibly easy - the low profile cooling encasement helps give a good finger / hand-hold of the RAM which then allows for a good solid placement and alignment into the RAM slots on the board - and the Sabertooth recognised the RAM in the BIOS first time on boot, though the clock speed was only at 1333mhz it was easy enough to clock the RAM Mhz up to the 1866mhz clock speed the RAM is listed as its working speed. After finding that Corsair RAM can have compatibility problems with being recognised by Asus Motherboards I sent the Corsair RAM I had originally purchased through Amazon's Refund program - which was alifesaver - and purchased this Kingston RAM instead on the recommendation that Kingston RAM has no such problems with Asus Motherboards and I have to say I couldn't be happier with it.Though I only had 8GB of RAM previously and have replaced it with another 8GB of RAM there is no major overall performance difference except a slight but noticeable improvement on program starts and transitions between instances when I play online games, as the previous RAM I had was a generic non-named pair of RAM sticks that only clocked to a maximum of 700Mhz.I will soon be buying another pair of 2x4GB - 8GB - of the HyperX Fury DDR3 1866Mhz RAM to achieve 16GB of RAM in my computer and then will really appreciate the power and speeds this RAM can offer.

RAM (Random Access Memory)RAM we all know that RAM is a very important when it comes to computers, this is because RAM is used for multitasking and its used for a temporary storage for your programs that are currently open on your computer. The more RAM you have the more you can have open and the better your computer will run overall as your computer has more memory to work with. For gaming/normal computers the HyperX FURY Series of RAM are perfect, this is because your getting some top quality RAM and for just over £50 its a great price. Your also getting a great clock speed as well, this clock speed is fine and its about average for most RAM i wouldn't recommend going to any lower RAM clockspeed. When it comes to gaming RAM is need obviously but good RAM i need and this is currently in my computer build and im very happy. One thing people don't know is that RAM doesn't effect your computers FPS! please don't think you need to spends loads of money on RAM to improve your gaming experience, yes you need something decent 8GB is perfect at the moment, but people who are buying stupid amounts of RAM for loads of money aren't really improving anything except your computers capability of having more programs open while improving its speed slightly.I would fully recommend this product its amazing for its money and this piece of kit should last you a few years too. Hopefully this has helped you.

I purchased these by mistake along with a Core i3 4170 and a socket 1150 motherboard. Why?Because I had become so used to do buying Haswell based CPU combos, you know, because Intel decided to skip the 5th Generation for consumers.Aaanyway. I managed to cancel the 4170 & socket 1150 before Amazon shipped them. Managed to purchase a Skylake i3 6100, that is not only 15% faster overall per single core, but was also £9 cheaper. Along with a much better equipped socket 1151 mobo, that thankfully took DDR3 memory. Which was a good thing as I couldn't cancel these, they'd already shipped.Aaanyway. These arrived. Very nicely constructed. Solidly packaged. They are rated for 1866Mhz,but you can run them all day long at 2200Mhz if you bump the voltage up to 1.65vThis is what I'm doing. They work great. As you know, Skylake CPU's appreciate the increase in RAM speed.2 days straight, no errors. Great to overclock to make the most out your money. Could tighten the timings if need be, but at i3 level, it would be negligible.Recommend them.Oh, and before I OC'd them, they just worked at the rated value, no messing with the Mobo Settings, so if you're not into OC, or don't know your way around the BIOS/EUFI, these are great, you won't be stuck on 1333Mhz, they will just run at their recommended 1866Mhz speed out of the box.

I'll be comparing this to the Corsair Vengeance Pro (CMY8GX3M2A1600C9R) which I also own.So as you can see the sticks are red, almost perfectly matching the colour of my Gigabyte Z87X-UD4H's heatsinks. The RAM is also low profile which actually matters to me as they comfortably sit under the Noctua NH-U12P unlike the Corsair ones.So right now I am running both the Corsair and Kingston sets for a total of 16GB of RAM.Using the Auto settings both sets ran at 9-9-9-25 @ 665Mhz (which is 1,333 MHz since DDR).By twiddling with the RAM speed and timings I managed to get them running at the more impressive 9-9-9-24 @ 800 Mhz (1,600 MHz DDR). This has been fully tested using Memtest86+.So what does this mean?Basically although the RAM is rated as a 1600MHz CAS 10, you could easily get it to 1600MHz CAS 9. I've not pressed this further but it's possible that your RAM could be pushed even further with either a higher frequency and/or lower CAS but that will depend on your sample. All in all I am very happy with the RAM and will absolutely be checking out Kingston the next time I need some RAM.

I installed and had no boot problem. Gamed with it fine. Then on day two, tested it with Memtest, which it passed perfectly. All seems to be working. Kingston apparently have the lowest RMA for memory so I am happy. I bought it because Shadow of Mordor (SoM) was using all my previously installed 8GB of RAM. Now I have 16GB, and SoM uses about 10GB max. It's actually better looking than the picture shows. I would have liked to get the white modules because my other identical modules are white. However I noticed that the other colours were cheaper so I bought the cheapest, red. It looks fine installed alongside white. Plus I will always know which is which out of the old and new RAM.Technical Stuff:My board specs say this;* Due to Intel® chipset limitation,DDR3 1600 MHz and higher memory modules on XMP mode will run at the maximum transfer rate of DDR3 1600 Mhz.The RAM spec sheet says this.* DDR3-1866 CL10-11-10 @1.5V* DDR3-1600 CL9-10-9 @1.5V* DDR3-1333 CL8-9-8 @1.5VIt works plug and play in my motherboard * DDR3-1600 CL9-10-9 @1.5V.

Improving you RAM is usually the simplest and most effective hardware performance upgrade that you can make. Just slot them in, power up, and off you go.Because I was increasing the amount of RAM for my machine with this order I can't comment too much on the effect high performance of the RAM. The increase in capacity was more important to me.What I will say, is that if you are multitasking using Windows 7 or above with less than 8 Mb of RAM, then increasing you RAM will make a noticeable difference to you.On the face of it the colour is just a gimmick. Usually I would say that I am not a fan of gimmicks, but for some strange reason I quite like it on this occasion.Perhaps it is because Ram Sticks normally look so insignificant, compared with their value. I hope it is not just vanity.Kingston are a leading brand that you can buy from with confidence, and there is technical support available in the unlikely event that you need it.

While brand and product line reputation isn't as much of a necessity when purchasing RAM, it either works or it doesn't, Kingston has an excellent level of brand loyalty among it's customers and with good reason. Their warranty quality (in the UK at least) is superb and if you have any issues with their products they'll almost always get it sorted. As for this stick I purchased a single 8GB white stick at £24.99, a great price for DDR3, you'd be hard pushed to find anything cheaper (new) anywhere else. The sheath over the chips is, as far as I can tell, metal, adding to the premium feel and adds little height to the profile of the ram so it shouldn't cause any issues with large CPU coolers.Theassortment of colours will doubtlessly serve anyone looking to theme their PC build. All in all a nice premium feel product at a value price. I've had no issues and I doubt you will either.

Bought these based on the reviews I've read and the size of the heat spreaders. Because of the oversized heatsink and fans required to keep the top chips running cool and for overclocking potential you can struggle to fit the high end ram with its large heatspreaders. These aren't much taller than the ram itself but seem a little wider. They fitted easily under the scythe mugen 4 I purchased to keep my i7 4770k cool. I bought the black version because the motherboard I have will eventually be replaced so I played it Safe (the white modules look stunning so I may get another set to sit between the black ones I have at a later date). These ram modules automatically set themselves to the correct speed without the need to go into your bios to change it to 1866mhz and it runs at 1.5v which again it sets itself. Everything seems to run fine and fast and I've not had any issues with it.

I'm not sure how to tell how good RAM is and given that the consensus seems to be 'if you're a normal user RAM is RAM' I figured to fall back on aesthetics. These look lovely though the side window.Got this in the sales and having installed it am very pleased with the result. I am a newish/intermediate pc builder and bought this as one of the last things to buy for a new system. The package is in a plastic box similar in a way to how other ram sticks are packaged but has only one package to fit both sticks. It is very sturdy plastic and has a reassuring protective feel about it. The red heatsinks are questionable as to how much they really help but it does look cool on my motherboard so I supposethere is that. The build quality of the sticks seems to be superb and did not feel flimsy or fragile during installation.

Very quick RAM, system seems to be a lot more stable now. Prefer this to my old Corsair RAM which only lasted 2 years.I have to say though, installing these requires some force. Don't be afraid to push it down. Until you hear the RAM click in place, then push down firmly on both sides to make sure it is securely in place. Also make sure you install both RAM into their correct slots to enable dual channel if you have 64bit architecture. Also you will find these RAM cheaper elsewhere such as Newegg. But bought from Amazon for an extra £10 as they have a great returns policy and are quick delivering. Packaging seemed a bit flimsy though, and Amazon Logistics just threw these through the letterbox and these are sensitive sticks and the lack of protection did concern me.10/10 to Kingston (HyperX)5/10 to Amazon

I bought two of these (4x4gb) for my rig and they came pretty quickly (Two days before the slated date)They work perfectly out of the box and install without too much pressure applied (Though I think the mobo might be a factor in that too) The heat spreaders are quite wide so the DIMM's sit pretty close together, decent airflow is always a must anyway but with these sitting so close you may want to double check your airflow set up to make sure it's getting plenty (If you are using four like I am)They aren't low profile but they are lower than most high end ram (Especially lower than Dominator ram)but clearance might still be an issue if you're planning on using up all of your ram slots so if you use a beefy air cooler and heat sink I suggest going for something lower profile.Amazing product, great value.

Very good RAM! Quite literally plug and play. Currently have it at 1600MHz, and it's running fine. When I upgrade my CPU I will be taking full advantage of the extra MHz! In terms of reliability it's not faltered, caught fire, blown up or got into a fight with anybody, so that's good!It is also a sexy stick of RAM , as far as RAM can be sexy. Which I guess isn't much really! Anyway, aesthetically it's nice, don't see white that often so it makes a nice change and goes well with the rest of my components... an unintentional but pleasing occurrence!Overall it's brilliant RAM! Recommended!UPDATEAfter 3 months it's still running perfectly, can't fault it! In fact I got another stick!Having the second stick really does boost the performance, especially if you have an APU! Still very much recommended!

I'm going to keep this review short and sweet. The build of this product is a very sturdy and it features a very neat design which also has many colour variants. It is worth pointing out that this contains 2x 8GB sticks not just 1x 16GB one. So if you don't have enough space then this isn't for you.For gaming, 16GB is a bit much as most games in current times don't even make use of 8GB. So if you're planning on gaming, then save money and get 8GB. But if you're thinking about doing editing/rendering or any other intense actions then 16GB may be needed. The RAM is quite fast and is more than plenty for what I do with it (gaming, etc.) and is only put to its use when rendering. At the end of the day, more RAM is better than not enough. And this RAM should be future-proof for a long time.
