when i do research on a product i need, i try to have the work cover the issue for the rest of my life. so i got three different kinds of bottles in different colors and sizes i had got a large hydro flask when they first came out and was delighted with it not leaking and keeping things cold or hot for a long time. i think that many products are offered now that are similar but customer feedback shows many of them do leak or the color chips off. i went to the Amazon customer feedback where all gave 5 stars and claimed no leaking or chipping.this hydro flask is the same quality as the one i got before, and i think the cap with the loop is a better design than the cap attached by a strap the first one i got has.while the wide lip is easy to fill without a funnel , it is slightly too wide to plan to drink directly out of, though i do it anywayi travel a 100 miles each way once a week and the bottles are saving me money by taking along drinks made at home. it helps and me to keep to my diet plan by making my own favorite teas or coffee with real cream, etc, instead of buying and drinking what is available even if it has ingredients i am trying to avoid.if you get something for travel i suggest you measure your cup holders so you get one that fits-this is a bit large for the drink holders in my car, but it does keep the coffee hot enough even though i drink it over several times during the day.

In my quest for water bottle perfection, I've gone through quite a few and always eventually disappointed in them all; not so with the hydroflask! It's amazing, I didn't think it'd be possible to be this much of a fan of a water bottle. I now fully understand the hydroflask hype...yes it's 'expensive' for a water bottle but with all things, the price is relative and you get what you pay for. Perhaps it's expensive because it's a high-quality item?I'd consider it definitely worth it if you're looking for a decent water bottle that won't leak and that will last.I don't know it how it fares in terms of keeping things hots as I only use mine for water, but I imagine well! It defintely keeps things chilled!I run my tap for a few seconds until it's cold and then the hydroflask relaibly keeps it chilled for hours! It's excellent.Build quality is delightful, it has a nice brushed metal finish that feels very premium and sturdy. The loop/handle is much sturdier than I expected and it's great to lift throughout the day. It's super easy to clean and fill, with no fuss, no valves or straws etc to leak or get mouldy. I dropped mine from about chest hight accidently on to hard kitchen tiles but it only has a tiny dent in one small area although it was horribly loud but it's tough for sure! I know it'll last for years if I look after it and clean it.

This is an excellent water bottle. It feels nice and sturdy and keeps my water cold all day. It has even kept ice cubes frozen overnight for me! It has an appealing visual design and is easy to carry. There are a few minor things to be aware of that you might want to be aware of before you purchase--they can be easily remedied with a couple accessories, but that is an additional investment. Firstly, since it's metal, the bottle can be a bit loud when you set it down. If this bothers you, purchasing a silicone boot (available here in Amazon from several sellers) will pretty much fix the issue. In addition, the standard top has to be removed in order to drink from the bottle, so if that is inconvenient for you,you also might want to consider purchasing one of the sport or straw tops for it as well.Overally, I highly recommend this water bottle. For me, since I live somewhere very warm, it's important to me to have something cold to drink, and this water bottle excels at that. It has helped me save money and cut down on soda, since I always have cold water on me, and it's very easy to refill.

This review is for the Hydro Flask Water Bottle - Standard Mouth Flex Lid (21oz). Hydro Flask has been our family's go to water bottle for a few years now. They are all metal (except the lid), durable and insulated. You can also purchase aftermarket lids like the Flaskars Straw Lid for Hydro Flask Standard Mouth Sport Water Bottle which upgraded the lid to include a built in, no leak straw (we prefer this to their sport cap offering). In the attached photos - you can see just the top portion of the Flaskars straw lid for reference.Measurements: As seen in the photos, The HydroFlask 21oz bottle with included cap is approximately 9.625 in tall excluding the 'loop' on the lid (9 5/8")- I believe their specs stating the height is 9.4 because they did NOT include the lid. I concur with the 2.87" in diameter measurement.Flaskars 3rd party lid for standard mouth hydro flask: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JR64T77/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I purchased this bottle to replace an 18 oz Yeti Rambler that I take to work with me. The Yeti is a good bottle and does everything it’s suppose to do, it just wasn’t big enough, therefore it didn’t hold enough water. This is my first Hydro-Flask bottle. This is a good one. The only con, if it can be considered a con, is the mouth is smaller than my Rambler, so I have to use a bottle brush to wash it. This bottle and the Yeti are suppose to be dishwasher safe, but I wash mine the old school way. A lot of the bad reviews I’ve seen for HydroFlask and Yeti are because the ones giving them used the dishwasher as opposed to washing them by hand.I’m beginning to see that I should have probably picked out one that’s even more capacity than this one.I’m awaiting the delivery of the 32 oz Takeya. Capacity aside, the Hydro Flask is a solid product. You can tell that it’s quality merchandise. I like it more than my Yeti, and that’s sayin a lot.

Very good quality, very good tasting water in this! Much better than any other metal water bottle I've tried. Very easy to clean I can get my normal dish brush down inside. I got the 21-oz standard mouth which I like the size of because I can fit it in my purse so I don't have to carry it. Also I love the little handle on top. My husband has the wide mouth kind and I don't prefer to drink out of that. It seems to want to go all over my lap. The color is very true to the pictures. I love this water bottle! I am on my second one because the first one I dropped and I dropped it just right that it dented the bottom super badly. It kind of left a sharp edge to the crease that it made. So just beware.I did drop it about 10 times before that and it didn't do anything to it. But now I just don't drop it. They are a little expensive (yet worth the cost in my opinion) and I don't want to have to buy another one.

Right now Hydro Flasks are all the screaming rage. My daughter really wanted one to take to gymnastics and school. She says that the water at school is gross! I wasn't thrilled about paying $35 for a water bottle when there were cheaper alternatives. It was a gift so I went ahead and splurged on the trendy brand name. Surprisingly, it lives up to the hype. Her water stays cold forever. She doesn't drink hot drinks so I can't vouch for heat retention but it is amazing for cold beverages. It seems to be well made and despite the price I am impressed by the quality. I would recommend buying a bottle brush to clean it because the top is narrow. Overall, I still think it is pricy but it is good quality and does what it says it will.I am glad my daughter wanted black rather than some of the more expensive, elusive colors. I would recommend it if keeping your beverage cold for long periods is important.

I love my HydroFlask! It came exactly how it looked, and it even came three days early! Before I go to school I fill it with water from my pitcher in the fridge and a couple ice cubes, and by the end of the day when I’m doing my homework late at night the water is still cold! I haven’t tried it with other liquids or something hot yet, but I expect similar results. The only thing I warn is that it scratches kind of easily. I slightly banged it against my car and it has a tiny paint scratch along the bottom, and near the top it has another tiny paint scratch from something else. Be careful not to drop it or a lot more paint may come off (not sure if this is true of other colors, I got black).I did not get it for the aesthetic though, so a couple little scratches don’t bother me!I spoke so highly of HydroFlasks my mom said she wanted to get one too! I totally recommend everyone have one!

Our family has been trying to do their part to reduce our waste and clean up the earth. Getting rid or reducing the use of plastic bottles should be a law soon! This water bottle can hold almost 1.5 bottles of water if you compare it to a typical plastic water bottle. This is my second hydro flask water bottle and it is by far the best one on the market. I usually leave it in the freezer overnight (without the cap) if I know I will be out all day in the hot sun and it keeps it cold allllll day. If you can't throw it in the freezer just throw some ice cubes and it works just as good. The materials feel very solid and its super easy to clean. It has not leaked at all and we use it daily.Just one thing I did drop it on the concrete from about should height and it did get a dent on the bottom but it still functions the same.

Love this HydroFlask! I am a college kid who was looking for a HydroFlask that would fit into/on the side of my backpack because I am on thr go a lot. I already had a hydroflask but it was a 32 ounce and was way to big to carry around campus with me and did not fit in or on the side of my backpack. With that, I decided to try and 18oz because it looked travel size and leaner than my 32oz. I saw these hydroflasks being sold on Amazon and decided to go for it - best decision I made! The flask is beautiful! The color is very vibrant. It is sturdy and fits perfectly in my backpack (side drink holder). I could have probably gone with the 21oz as well but this 18oz is perfect! Fits great, very handy and keeps my tea very hot and my water m very chilled through my class days. Cery happy with this!

This is the first time I own a hydroflask and its pretty great. They are very durable and strong. Unlike other flasks and bottles, it isn't easy to break or damage the bottle. My only complaint is that it's easily scratched and it still makes dents. Its not easy to make dents on it but I would prefer if the material was stronger. Also it really hard to clean this bottle from the inside, I will need to get myself a long scrub to fit it all the way inside to clean the bottom of the bottle. Other than that, what's great is that even though it gets a dent, it won't affect the proportion of the bottle inside. You won't lose capacity because it has a two layer covering. So basically whats getting dented is the first layer of the bottle.

This brand I fought with my kids about, because they wanted these bottles so badly, but I thought they seemed too pricey. I refused to buy them, but they are truly the best water bottles we have ever owned. My daughter first bought her own months ago, since I would not buy one for her. We took it to Mexico and it sat with us everyday, at the pool, in the scorching sun and the ice was still there over thirty hours later. We now own four of them and will eventually end up with every size over time. I am going to buy the one for coffee next, because I have heard they are great too. Thanks for making such a wonderful product. These bottles are a bit more expensive, but worth every penny!!

This is a great bottle! It does what it says - keeps things piping hot for 4 hours (I haven't tested it with cold contents yet), its easy to clean and it fits into the side pocket of my small-ish backpack (note: the wide mouth 1litre version definitely does not - just in case you are deciding between the two options). I think the color in reality is a little less purple than in the photos - its very subtle.I already dropped it quite violently from my kitchen counter onto the tile floor and it only left a teeny-tiny dent that you almost can't see (I would have expected much more damage). And the best is that there is no metallic taste at all when used for drinking water out of it!

27.9.2020

The shape of the bottle along with the slightly large top that you drink from makes it so I splash and get some water on me every once in a while. I bought a 3rd party lid but my main problem with that is it is harder to clean and plastic which kind of defeats one of the main reasons of having a metal bottle. I think there may have been a first party lid for this bottle but if there was it was also plastic.I do like the shape of this bottle it holds a lot of water and it still can fit into cupholders in cars. It also keeps my water cool for a really long time. I have dropped, scratched, and even dented it situations where I'm fairly certain a glass bottle would have shattered.

I’ve had a wide mouth 32oz for a few years now and use it everyday but just wished it could fit in a cup holder and in my work bag better. Finally picked up this thinner but taller bottle and really love it. I wish there was some kinda retention system for the cap like the older wide mouth lids (nalgene style). This standard size lid is more of a pain to open, the threading is “stickier” and louder too. And I feel like that loop is going to rip off every time I open and close the bottle. Could we finally get an insulated humangear style cap with a smaller screw on guzzling opening and I don’t have to worry about getting attacked by ice cubes and drowning while chugging? Thanks
