I bought the clear case a year ago and here's my review from when I first bought it:Good price but could be better for the quality, as the holes dont perfectly line up with those on the phone, other than that it looks great and is pretty decent.One year later:The case is very scratched, and stained brownish and faintly black. The case was good and protected against a few drops, however placing my phone face down on a table resulted in some nasty scratches down the screen.Smart view case:In my first half hour with the case, it is wvident that the protection from drops won't be as effective as with the clear case, however now I can place the phone face down on a table without worrying about scratches.

After using various cases over the years, I have to say that this is one of the most please I have ever used. Everything about it is perfect. It is clear that Huawei has refined their own-brand cases and this is no exception!Materials: The case is made from very premium materials with the outside being made from a strong silicone. The inside has a soft material inside (not sure exactly what it is) and this is great for protecting the phone against drops as it absorbs the impact.Protection: The case is very ridged and provides great protection for the phone. It takes a bit of force to get on and off the phone which I find a good thing. The case will fully protect against any drops as it has for me many times.

I have only been using this case less than a day, but I know it's decent enough. For durability I've marked it 3/5 with the intention of returning in a few months time to reassess this.As this is a proper Huawei case specifically made for the Mate 20 Pro I doubt you can get better elsewhere.At around £14 too it's a bargain here on Amazon, considering O2 are charging double the price. I haven't bothered looking elsewhere as phone cases tend to be cheapest here or eBay.It is a smart case, in that it changes how your phone behaves on the lock screen. It does not need any installing, the phone seems to know what's going on when you put the case on. If your Mate 20 Pro is on at the home screen,

This is the best phone case I've ever owned. So good in fact, I recently purchased a second one (just in case Huawei stops production - my phones usually last me 2 to 3 years).Pros:- The quality of material and stitching. I've used this case for over a year and it still looks brand new. Only a little bit of inner lining from inside one of the card slots has come loose which makes it a pain if I try to slide a card in (I rarely do)- The slimness of the case. I've had folding cases before, they have always been much thicker and more padded. Huawei managed to produce an incredibly thin yet robust case- The hidden magnet which results in the phone's screen switching on and off when the flip case

UPDATED REVIEWI previously bought the clear silicone case that is under the same listing here for the blue case. However, they are world's apart.The clear case was just a basic silicone case that didn't look very good at all and didn't make the phone any more grippy.I took the plunge and decided to go for the blue case and I am so stoked with it.The colour for one is great, I normally go for black cases but this colour is nice, looks almost like a space grey colour and I get loads of compliments on it!The texture is lovely and grippy and my phone feels safe in my hand. Feels like it'll withstand a lot of scratches and knocks as well.The case itself is quite rigid in its construction.

The Mate 20 Pro is a fantastic phone but without a case there is a constant worry about what will happen to it if dropped, given its all glass construction and very slippery surfaces (in the black version at least). I was immensely relieved to receive this case, as fitting it immediately and completely eliminated my worry. It provides excellent protection and grip and adds virtually no bulk to the phone. Although there may be cases out there which provide even better protection, this one hits the sweet spot of providing good protection without turning the phone into a behemoth. The materials used are premium, very much in keeping with the quality of the phone.

This case looks amazing. I love the little window and the fact my phone knows it's there and changes the display when the front is closed so you can have a little display in the window. Awesome. The case looks and feels great. The inside door is a very fine felt (apart from the window) which is reassuring. It's easy to get it in and out of the case and it feels good to hold.My only concern is the protection it offers. Although I've not dropped it yet, a large amount of the phones side and bottom is exposed. The case is also not very thick (which is probably why it feels so good to hold!) so I don't think there will be much cushioning going on, although I am sure it's better than nothing.

Fits huawei mate 20 pro perfectly. There is no catch to keep the front flap shut but it is not popping up like others have put in their reviews. The window is a great little feature--it automatically locks the screen when shut and automatically gives a little display that fits the window. The window is also touch sensitive so you can answer calls without opening the flap. Covers all of the corners for protection but not the right hand edge where the buttons are- that part is left somewhat vulnerable to breakage or scratches even with the flap shut. Also, to be clear, it does not cover the cameras at the back either. That is what I expected when I chose this case so no reduction in star rating for that.

After weeks of hesitation on buying a 'flip' screen protector, I'm pleased I made the decision to try it. I've now owned it 6 months and is by far the best case I've owned. It is sturdy and has protected my phone well after numerous drops from <2m in height. It feels great quality and I've had some compliments on the case too. The only small niggle is that it doesn't stay closed completely flat to the screen, however this has got better over time and is bearly noticible now. Also, it has discoloured slightly on the inside of the case, which is likely to be due to makeup and the fabric of the inner case. Despite cleaning regularly this remains slightly grey looking on the inside now rather than black.

I bought the foldable case for my mate 20 pro to protect my phone in every situation. It is an original Huawi cover and you can feel it at the touch. I'm really happy about the product but i' m leaving only 4 stars due to a couple of improvements that i think they should have done.1) absence of a locking mechanism (you can easly open the case by turning the phone upside down) 2) there is a blur effect when you look at the phone screen though the case's window 3) the always on display does not work (but I think that I have to attribute this issue to the phone rather than than the case). Except those very small issues I don't have other complaints (and propbably I will buy another one give the current price),

I bought my mate 20 pro from carphone warehouse (nothing against Amazon - i just wanted green variant). Unfortunately, the device didn't ship with a phone case so i had to buy one.In terms of performance, the case fits as expected. There is no slack once the case is applied. It is a very thin, yet sturdy accessory that personally made me feel more comfortable holding. As it is a clear case, it means you can display the colour on the back of the device which is a bonus. Additionally, the addition of the case stops the protruding camera from getting scratched which is a massive bonusI haven't done a drop test as i don't really want to risk ruining my device but the case itself does add protection.

I had a 3rd party case previously, green hard shell type with a rough surface that has excellent reviews....no problems with that case particularly, but I broke it and decided to try this one. Much better to get the Huawei case, the quality is definitely better, nicer feel to it and feels like there is extra protection with this case.If you have been shopping around and can't decide then this case is a very good choice, doesn't add to the bulk of the phone and wireless charging still works fine.I did give up on glass protection though so go without any the raised edges on this case will help to some degree with that shortfall,

No two ways about it hands down this is an extremely functional well made case and it looks fantastic, it offers protection although there will be other cases that protect your new handset better as although this offers a barrier between your phone and outside elements it doesn’t have any substantial corner cushioning such as you may find on other cases. I’ve still given it 5 stars though as it is so stylish and looks amazing which is such a blessing as the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a gorgeous handset that if you have to hide it away its a nice change to have a case that does it justice. Accessibility to any ports etc is no problem and it’s been an absolute joy to use, great active flip as well.

Like most named brand products, you don't buy for value for money but for guaranteed fit and compatibility.In this case, it looks good, it is very durable and does what it says on the tin.A great feature is that you can see who is calling through the front window of the cover and looks great with the always on display. The phone knows that the cover is on and modifies itself automatically for ease of use.The best feature : the ability to answer / reject calls by touch without opening the cover.The downside : a bit of a greasy finger magnet.Overall a great quality item that is a "must" for your fantastic mate 20 pro. You won't be disappointed.

One gripe of the new Mate 20 is that it doesnt come with a factory screen protector at all, this seems a crazy decision. Then sure enough, my phone falls out of my bed on the first night and the screen scratches on the wooden floor. I couldnt get a case in the shop, as the phone was so exclusive. Anyhow, the case is lovely, very well made and fits the phone perfectly. Intelligently the phones display changes as the case is fitted so that the time etc can be shown easily. Something that the listing should say, because I was concerned I didnt know how to change it. Great phone, great case, a very happy new customer to the Huawei brand
