I'm a semi pro photographer who teaches the subject at college level. All I want is a filter that does NOTHING except save the front element of my lens from damage. This filter is the nearest I've ever found to that aim. Forget the rest, if you just want soething you'll never know is there, this gets you 95% of the way.

I can never understand photographer who do not protect their Lens Front Elements. One Scratch Ruined Lens. These are great value and do not interfere with the quality of the Lens at all.

I have UV version of these for protection on all my normal lenses, went for this one for a macro lens and satisfied with same high quality.

If you spend money on a good camera- get an excellent filter! No point in putting cheap glass on it. Thus is the best you can buy.
