I bought them for my Lumix fz200 bridge camera. I will test them also at a Nikon d5100 soon.In the description it says that is also aimed to help you create slow shutter speed effects. I bought the "4" together with the "2".Even combined these two filters cannot compensate enough to allow me use slow shutter speed (at the level I was planning to) under the fully bright noon sun.I was planning to capture some "ghost-city" pictures but I need more levels of ND.It partially worked with moving water (fountain). However this may be just because I live in Greece and the sun here is very bright. Maybe in sunny days I will be able to accomplish this.I will update the review as Autumn is coming soon so hopefully the sun will be less bright.Meantime I am thinking to buy a "8" or a "16" ND gradient filter (or even higher - I am yet to decide). So, I remove 1-star and giving just 4 instead of 5, because the description was not fully explanatory. This effect works under reasonable levels of sun bright mostly found in the Northen part of the world.

Excellent filter, buy this save money and get better pictures, most people buy a four and an eight. I've found that the eight is hardly ever used and the four only gets used rarely.Get a two and a four and you have two filters with lots of applications, in the summer months I use the NDX2 as lens cover almost never taking it off the lens, it helps give your snaps a little more depth, gives them a bit more punch. Screw the two and the four together and you've a lot more serviceable six.

Product: After a lot of research in to ND Filters I have settled for the HOYA brand! I love it, works wonders, it is great for long exposure shots in the dark and sunset time. Truly brings out the colour in your photos, I didn't have to re-touch my photos with this filter on my lens.Price: Great price - a lot cheaper than Retail prices.Delivery: Promptly delivered.

Very very nice filter. It fits my Sony nex 49 mm lens PERFECTLY. The picture isn't getting dark or changed at all because of the longer exposure time the camera provides. Great for making some cool effects with the exposure at bright daylight. The quality is very nice, it doesn't feel cheap or anything. it feels 'heavy' and wellmade.

This was delivered in lightning time and well packed. Does what it is meant to do. It is an easy way to take long exposures and less hassle than a Cokin system. When doubled with my polarizer the effect is doubled. Great.

Great gift for a person who is into photography. The filter looks to be made from quality materials. I have myself hoya polarising filter and it has never let me down. I have no doubt this one will be great as well.

the filter is good, does what you expect without affecting IQ, color balance, etc... demonstration one doesn't have to spend 100$ in a filter to get good quality

no problems... I was using it for Narrow DOF f1.2 shots a ND4 gave me a shutter speed of 250 with a couple of speedlights to light the scene

A good well made item. I have had no problems with the screw threads on these like other filters I own. Excellent filter for price.

El filtro está muy bien por el precio que tiene. Lo unico es que sale todo en colr rojizo pero luego se corrige al disparar en RAW.

Really good quality for the money - I use with a Fuji 56. f1.2 and this really helps shoot wide open without any loss of IQ
