I normally wear size XL in a MC helmet and that is what I ordered again based upon having owned 2 other HJC helmets in the past. The helmet was marked XL, the box said XL but I could not get it on my head at all. I had 2 other people try the helmet and they agreed it was definitely not sized right. My neighbors 10 year old son wears a size small and he could get it on his head and it was a snug fit. I think the helmet was actually a size XS that was mismarked XL by HJC. I was very disappointed to have this happen. The helmet looked well made as to the finish and interior. I returned the helmet and was issued a refund. This was probably just an isolated incident.

If you plan on wearing this you will need to buy a pinlock. In the rain this helmet let's in the water making it very difficult to see. When it's cold you end up getting water droplets drip down from the sun visor. Would be an ok summer helmet but I would recommend buying a different helmet
