Lightweight and very compact. Also good to wrap around your thermos flask for a bit of extra insulation. Because it's thin it won't make you ignore the jagged rock that you might be sat upon, so take a cushion if you're looking for absolute comfort. However it is warm to sit on and is perfectly adequate. I'd buy another one if I lost this one.

These are great for when I am out and about and the ground is wet or rough, worked a treat when I was sitting in the summit shelter on Skiddaw which was all rough stones, kept me comfortable whilst having a rest out of the cold wind. Nice and thick and fold up into a good shape to fit in my rucksack.

i found this mat on youtube and bought two straight away its a well made pad and very comfy comes with a strap built in to keep it secure it seems to have some sort of gel padding which makes for greater comfort also it can be easily cleaned
