This is so lightweight that I keep it clipped to my key chain, which makes it even more useful because I always have it with me. This is a sharp light duty knife, and as long as you aren't stupid and trying to use it as a screwdriver or prying out something, it will do fine. I use it most for opening packages, cutting zip strips, slicing apples and removing splinters [and self defense just in case]. I don't intend to use it to skin a deer, kill a bear, or slice through the fabric of space and time, so it is a great little knife.

COMPARED TO KERSHAW REVERB (cf): This knife is almost identical to the Reverb but is a bit bigger. The steel is 420HC which is a of the milder side of the stainless steels but Buck has an exceptional heat treatment. The big ticket item is the clip. It is much, much better designed than the Reverb and clips on without wanting to jump out of your pocket. It holds a thumb cutout in the blade for one handed opening. I recommend this knife over the Reverb (which I already got rid of) only due to the clip function, or lack there of.

This is hands down the best pocket knife I've ever used. It's sturdy, lightweight. Feels great in the hands. The blade is nice and sharp, and easy to sharpen. I love the belt clip. It's the perfect size. It lasts for ages. The first one I owned, It lasted about 2 years before the screw came apart and got lost. And I got pretty regular use out of it. I carry my pocket knife with me everywhere and I find myself using it nearly every day. I just purchased my second one, and a third for when that one goes. Highly recommend.

I love this little knife! I'm on my second one due to losing the first one. You really can't beat it for an EDC. It's small and super light. I own quite a few expensive knives and pick this one everyday. It's inexpensive enough that it's easily replaced. Only issue I've had is the pocket clip bends allowing it to come out when you sit. It's easily bent back just check it every now and then.

This is my every-day light duty knife. I love that I can clip it onto a belt loop and it's so slim and lightweight that I don't even notice it's there at my hip. It's slim enough to easily forget in a pocket as well. It looks really slick, and although I wouldn't use it for anything extensive, it's great for basic everyday tasks like opening packaging and slicing fruit.

I bought this 2 years ago and it fell apart the other day. I’m amazed by this cause it’s been my work knife, so it got used probably 200-300 times a day/ 5 days a week/ every week since dec 2016. It wouldn’t fall out of place because it was loose. The carabiner is small but sturdy. And the knife is the perfect size.

This is a nice little knife. Be careful with the locking mechanism when the knife is new. I noticed the locking arm didn't always completely extend, and the blade could be forced closed. After about a week of use, the locking mechanism fell into place better, and I'm no longer worried about it.

Been using this as my edc for about a month now and I love it. At first I thought it would be to small but that's what is good about it because it is so lite. I have used it hunting, fishing, hiking and on the farm without any problems. The bottle opener works great too. Buy it.

I bought this for my wife, as she wanted a nice folding knife with a clip. As an outdoor enthusiast, I have owned quite a few knives over the years. I really love the feel, balance and quality of this Buck! So far it is holding up well, it holds and edge and my wife loves it!

I just hook it on my belt loop or backpack, and it is ready accessible. I can easily open and close it with one hand, so it is the perfect knife to have when you have your other hand in use. It is very sharp, and the design is a perfect fit in my hand. I love this knife!

nice pocket knife. the finish on the carbon fiber insert is adequate (not fabulous). Could have benefitted from a few more layers and better finishing, but like I said, for the price, its fine. knife is nice, very light weight. I guess I would buy it again.

My fave! Love the hook. Blade is sharp sturdy & easy to manipulate. I love it so much this purchase was for a back-up just in case I lose the 1st one. No need to worry about product failure it's a Buck w/ lifetime guarantee!

What an ingenious little tool!Lightweight, open one-handed, two handy secure clipping devices, perfect for pocket, Razor sharp stainless blade, You could carry it anywhere (not on airplanes). Close to perfect. Six Stars!

Nice little pocket knife. Came sharp out of the box. This would be a perfect fit of a knife for an ultra-lightweight backpacker IMO. Took one star away because it's made in China.

I love this knife, I carry it everyday you don’t even know it’s in your pocket, holds an edge well, opens easily with one hand it’s everything I wanted in an everyday knife.
