This device is very cheap, but there is a reason for this.The GPS chip is a pretty old 8 channel one which is showing its age in higher energy consumption, slow time to first fix and it only uses the American NavStar constellation to determine its position.The solar panel is a bit of a gimmick - it can't power the device alone, but it can extend the battery life a bit. I suppose you could use it to charge the battery enough for infrequent daily use but it is only a trickle charge.With the solar panel I would expect the device to be a little more weatherproof - it doesn't appear to have any recognised IP rating and I would assess it as possibly showerproof.There are better bluetooth receivers on the market that are more modern,

FUNZIONA POCO E PERDE SPESSO IL SEGNALE, IL GPS DEL TELEFONO è MIGLIORE.HO PROVATO CON DUE TELEFONI MA NON MIGLIORA, SPESSO SI DISCONNETTE ANCHE IL BT.

The concept was going to be perfect for me, but unfortunately it can't connect to the iphone, which makes it useless.
