the item is good but has a few problems1. it is not as fast as tom tom to pick up satellites2. when it does pick them up it takes time to calculate route3. the routing options are never the best and always requires some local knowledge if you are to get somewhrer on time.4. it crashes all the time, especially when you are trying to make changes to a journey.5. batteries on pda run out after 2.5 hours so if you dont take your car charger (or dont have a cigarette lighter) you'll be in trouble. (battery extenders are available on ebay)6. batteries run out on the navman unit every 30 hours and it begins to go funny when they run low.all in all, buy the tom tom bluetooth attachment if you have to.
