Was about the brightest torch I could find at a reasonable price. Needed it for work so had to be bright with a good range, and for a change, didnt want to go for a Maglite. This was perfect. Has other modes, such as flashing and a lower brightness which I dont need or use. But some might find it useful. For something. Would definately recommend.

Arrived with no instructions on how to insert all the batteries and would not switch on - Happily Argos despatched a replacement which arrived less than 24 hours later - Still no instructions but it worked first time The other day our lights tripped and the torch came into its own / turned out to be far brighter than our normal house lights !

Am amazing find and buy. value for money as I do not see me having to replace for along time. So bright! Lightens up the whole room as it should do. Shame it does not have a handle to prevent dropping out of your hand but is a great fit in you hand. So very happy.

Got this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. It's seriously bright and exactly what he wanted. He uses it to walk the dog at night on a dark country road, and to check on the dog out in the garden. We love how heavy and sturdy it feels. Would recommend.

I bought this torch to look for a hedgehog in my garden. The beam is brilliant I can’t fault it but it is quite heavy and also the design of the handle is completely round so if you put it on a flat surface it rolls off! Apart from that I would recommend it.

Great torch. Not heavy to hold. Great projection. I can finally see way ahead when walking the dogs in the dark. Not entirely sure what the 7 settings are though. I’ve managed to get the full beam, dimmed beam and the flash light. But what more do I need.

The best powerful tourch for its beam and price. This tourch even has a flash repeat setting like a morse code. For walkers or adventures may well come in handy for locating.

Nice solid torch dont know how long the batterys will last I think I'll invest in rechargeable ones very bright it defo brightens up my nights well done argos as always

I walk my dog at night along a dark canal towpath with very little light. This torch lights up the towpath for at least 30 - 40 yards. Brilliant & well worth the money

Super bright and made to last. Great torch and comes with a set of batteries that are still going strong. If you need a good torch buy this as its a great torch.

Excellent metal casing with a good grip. Feels great in the hand and is nice and bright. Used it on a night survey with work and illumination was top notch.

This torch is metal, solid item with an amazingly bright light. Just what you need when the power goes off or in dark cupboards.
