There's no doubting this is well made and does what it is intended to. However, I bought this so I could read library books in bed next to a wife who can't sleep if there is any light in the room. Unfortunately the light is bright and emits at a wider angle than a basic paperback (hence four stars). Perhaps I should have bought her a sleeping mask instead? Oddly enough, the glow from my Kindle does not affect her so it's out with the library books and back to the Kindle purchases. Shame really. I'm sure somewhere in a review or on the packaging (can't remember) there was mention of a light switch to have two levels of light but can't find anything that will do this on the unit. If I'm missing a trick,

Very pleased with this light - very good value for the money. The light has a sturdy attachment (unlike other brands I've had in the past that have snapped or don't grip the book well). The light is quite bright as others have mentioned but can be angled so as not fill the room. Think it'll be handy though too as a little torch on holiday. Like the fact you can clip it in on itself, so less likely to get damaged when stored. Lightweight and seemingly well made. Comes with batteries which is good too.

Looked for so many book lights brought one from water stonea around 12-16 pound and it was awful it was heavy and spun around all the time. This one is AMAZING I would 100% buy again moves everywhere whole thing is flexible can be moved up down side to side litterally anywhere best book light! Perfect brightness to. Buy it

This light has a strong grip and stays on my kindle firmly.The light is very bright and is brilliant white not yellow as some have claimed.It is well made and should last a long time.I use it every night for a few hours and find the batteries last about 10 days so I would recommend to stock up on cheap cell batteries.

We previously bought a cheaper book light and were very disappointed with it. This product, on the other hand, appears to be of good quality and has a pleasant colour temperature and brightness. The battery life is rated at 25h for 2x CR2032 which can be bought quite cheaply in bulk. So far we're very pleased.

I have now bought three of these for me and as gifts. Perfect book light. Clips easily on the cover and bends to direct the light. Bright light. Battery life could be better but highly recommend.

This light is perfect for clipping on to my Embroidery hoop, Works perfectly, and great price!I am amazed it works so well, much better than the lights that hang around the neck Am very pleased.

Love this book light. It's very bright which I love but others might prefer an adjustable light. Comes with battery's which I think is good for value. Had it quite a while now and no problems.

Brilliant night light for reading.It’s good and bright and I can see what I am reading.I am single so no complaints from someone who wants to sleep hahaha I don’t need a kindle.

This little light is extremely bright and really does the job well I can be asleep and my husband can read his book with this light and as it moves he can angle it away from me.

This item is very convent as you can take it anywhere and clip it to clipboards and books. Use it anywhere especially when lights are dimmed in planes or trains etc.

Clips onto book well, light is bright enough without annoying anyone else. Not had it too long so don't know how long battery will last, but would recommend.

Wife was sceptical, as others I had bought for her night reading were rubbish.However this is very light, bright and easy to position.Great product.

Lovely little light wish I had bought one years ago fits on to a book perfect lights up both pages not to bright and great value

Lightweight, clips easily onto the pages, doesn't wobble, and provides a very bright light for reading in dark environments.
