I bought this mainly because I don't want to replace tiny batteries every four hours or so.It's not a dazzlingly bright beam which illuminates 350 metres, so buy a Lenser or similar at five or six times the price if that's what you want.I wanted good battery life, metal construction, reliability, enough white light to see into the darkness of the shed or the engine bay of the car. That's what I got.Quality feels good but not exceptional.It's a cheap well made torch, no messing about with three modes of brightness or Morse code distress signals. Turn on, turn off.Just a good torch. Great!

Good quality torch with more than adequate brightness for most situations. I bought the Energiser Metal LED torch which seems quite strong. Many of the reviews here are of completely different torches so you need to be careful when reading them. Not much wrong with this torch except that some might find it a little heavy because it takes 2 D batteries and is Metal.

TorchOnly just had this torch but brilliant light and will be ideal for the dark winter nights, it looks very well made and coming with energised own batteries as well was an added bonus, so far what I’ve seen I would recommend but like I say haven’t had it long but so far so good

This is the second torch that I have bought. And the reason being, that I was pleased with the first one I bought.For the price, it is robust and reliable, and as good as torches with the same spec that cost considerably more.

A really lovely well balanced torch. I love the styling and switch positioning. Lightweight for an aluminium torch.Takes 2 D cel batteries so it’s affirdsble and is very bright. A really good torch.

The torch is good. LED light, and just what I wanted. However., I had to put new batteries in it straight away. The light was dim, and it looked like it had been hanging around for a while.

Good basic torch. Quiet light for a metal torch and the switch feels quite cheap but for the price and the frequency I need it for it is okay.

Good LARGE torch, nice bright led’s not what I was expecting, thought it was smaller, my smaller energiser one is brighter, but this is good.

For those looking for premium quality at a reasonable price. Great to keep in the car for obvious functionality + security.

Carnt comment on battery life has I havnt used it yet, but other than that I am very pleased with it

seems OK. Maglite packed in and was useless. this has a better switch.
