We registered for these for our wedding. I knew Denby was a no brainer (my sister is still using Denby from my grandparent's wedding), but I wasn't thrilled about their current selection of designs. They all seem either dated or a little too trendy, nothing timeless. I found these timeless beauties, but I was worried about these being labeled "china" and they are quite thin, but seem very resilient. We've been using them for a couple months now and they show absolutely no wear and tear. They are perfect for a formal dinner or a bowl of cereal in the morning.Beware, they are thin so they heat up quickly. This includes the mug, which is a little too hot for me to hold for fresh, hot coffee.

...but too expensive for what it is. But, yes its a nice design, and yes its nice to use...maybe a little top heavy and the glass doesn't ring when you rub the rim (but it does if you rub the base...go and figure that out). TBH - I think one is paying for the name, because there are other glasses that look (nearly) as good for significantly less wonga. I only bought this pair to replace broken one to a set I bought with a gift token in a raffle...I don't think I would pay this much for this product normally.

Really good, sturdy enough to go in a dishwasher but not so inelegant that it's like drinking from a beaker. Still managed to break one in the dishwasher after someone loaded it awkwardly - glad I bought 8 when on special offer even though I only needed 6...

Versatile, great size and feel. These are a repeat buy as I smashed one. Substantial, as I found out when I cleared up the one I smashed. Now have a spare. Worth the money.

These bowls are perfect for any pasta dish, stew, once you warm them up they keep warm for a long time allowing you to serve everybody and still having your meal hot.

My son and his wife love Denby so I bought these glasses for them, what I love about these is that they will go with any set of Denby. They really look smart.

I need a new set of wine glasses, similar in size to my old ones which are 12.7cms tall and hold just over 150ml. Would these be suitable?
