A misunderstanding had led me to order these glasses for Christmas. I had expected them to have a red stem as they are advertised as Denby Imperial Blue Red Wine Glasses. I was surprised to that they were actually blue! Silly me. However, I was not to be put off as I liked them so much I decided to design the Christmas Day table in blue and silver. Because they are so robust and dishwasher proof without feeling or looking too chunky, I decided to add the white wine glasses and the tumblers to my Christmas wish list. Great move, as I now have a full set. Everything was extremely well packaged and all three deliveries arrived well before Christmas. We use the glasses on a day to day basis and our guest have admired them too.

The first thing to note with regard to these glasses is that they are blue glasses (the stem as per the picture) that are for red wine, hence the slightly confusing name! I already had the white wine version of these but they had not fared well in the dishwasher (they got cloudy but I didn't use the glass setting, maybe that was why) and I wanted to replace them. These red wine glasses are much bigger so my husband doesn't need to keep refilling quite so often! They are elegant and chunky but I will be hand washing them from now on!

Thank you for the replacement glasses. I just love these glasses but sadly, yet another of them has a small 'bubble' showing.I have now got six white wine glasses and six red wine glasses - and as I have already returned two I do not feel like returning yet another.This is disappointing but I will just live with the one that I believe to be a second..The glasses are really lovely and I would recommend .

I already has a few of the glasses and I'm trying to collect a 'set'. They are lovely glasses both to handle and drink from, with a beautiful colour and weight to them. I have a completed 'set' of the Red wine glasses and small tumblers so now I will probably move on to collect others that I am missing to complete a 'full set' of Greenwich/Regency glasses. I love Denby products and have some of these glasses already so thought they would make a lovely gift. Unfortunately on was chipped on arrival so had to return with no time for a replacement. I would still purchase this item again anytime. Some of my denby products I have had close to 10 years and they are still like new. Definately worth the money.

Love these glasses, I ordered 2 sets, to go with my other Debby purchases... Unfortunately one of them got knocked over and broke..... I came back to order another set and found the price had changed from £16.95 to £28.00!!!! ? guess I will have to live with a set of 3 as just can’t justify paying £14 per glass.... ? Hence the 4 stars

These are not for anyone who likes delicate glassware - they are chunky and quite heavy. But I really like the feel of them and they look stylish and fun, with a hint of colour in the stems. If you already have Denby tableware they are a must, and would go with anything that is not traditional fine china.

Seems to be of very good quality, feels nice and heavy. Only complaint is that the base is not always flat and the glass is then wobbly. First box had a glass that would not sit flat. Exchange it and got another box with 1 wobbly. So litterally had to pick the good ones and return the rest

Denby far exceeds it's needs ,as usual!..One aspect though is the latest glasses are slimmer on the stems and thinner on the glass!.. as I still have some from previous purchases that are the same items from Denby Ware!.. which are far heavier than the recent glasses from your company!...

I bought these to glasses to complete a set after a previous one getting broken. So knew what to expect from Denby. I love these glasses the amethyst colour stem is classy and the look and feel is expensive. Perfect finish to the dinner setting

what can I say...my first ever set of grown up glasses! An asset to my dinning table.. :-) very sparkly! Modern & Elegante.. Great quality.. Argos and Ikea just don't compare ;-) plan on buying in the not to distant future as a gift.

Packaged perfectly and great value for money, these glasses look so stylish in and out of the packaging and made a great christmas present for my sister who collects denby (and drinks a lot of wine!). Thankyou.

I had bought them during the daily deals of Amazon and am very happy with my purchase. They look beautiful and elegant - have been using them for a month now. They are dishwasher safe and seem quite sturdy.

I bought the glasses at £18 for 2 and am still very impressed with them. Nice weighty glasses that look and feel well made without breaking the bank. At just over a tenner for 2 they are a top bargain.

I bought these glasses to replace denby glasses that had broken after many years of use. I love the new design and they are lovely to drink out of. They also are dishwasher safe which is a bonus.
